The thanks button is located at the bottom right corner of someone's post. I think that I read on another thread (someone else that asked the same question) that you have to have at least one post before the thanks button will show up. Hope this helps.
It is next to quote.

Hopefully this helps
Please hit the thank button for me

thought it will be a good idea to create a "thank you" thread.
not wanna spam in each topic i'm thankful for (hardspl, cid-unlock, simunlock, dutty roms and others).
just wanna say THANK YOU VERY MUCH, flashed my first rom today and i'm so happy and it is all thanks to you
so, again: thanks to all the xda-developer's
kubia
i think that the mods should just create a thank u sticky as a new post every few day.
however if ur truly thankful than see if ur means allow donating to XDA

It's my turn to ask a question instead of answer one.
How does one obtain the URL of a specific post in a thread? I've seen it before, but can't for the life of me figure out how to do it myself.
Thanks!

Hi,
In Tapatalk or Xda's app, highlight the post, then click menu and "copy post url". On a Pc, just right click on the post number to the top right of the post... And select copy url.

I wish I could donate it to myself!
Just kidding. I think I'll give it to @jeff_kz, who created the wonderful Nook Touch rooting method NookManager. He definitely deserves it.
