I Super Bricked My KindleFire. HELP! - General Questions and Answers

I was using a thread on here because I had installed ICS Launcher and had bricked my kindle. I followed the instructions and everything seemed to be working, but I went to pick up the kindle and accidently click the disconnect button while it was rerooting or rebooting and now its super bricked. It stuck at the Kindle Fire Logo. it doesnt even shine or anything. its a frozen logo. Is there hope for this little fella or should I post him up on Craigslist and sell him for parts?

By his description, he is in fastboot mode. There in the forum has the commands to get him fastboot mode, this happened to me too.

You would get better responses in the Kindle fire section. Anyway if your in fastboot download the Kindle Fire utility. Press 1. Then enter. Then 1 and enter again. That should fix it.

i cant because, im guessing the operation system isnt starting up and the usb doesnt recognize it. im done huh?

[Q] Cant unbrick Kindle Fire.

What happens when you turn on your kindle?
- Splash screen then blackness?
- Splash screen freezes and sits there permanently?
- other???
Fixed!
I fixed my problem. I used adb and ran a command to fastboot. At first I did not try this for the fact that no adb and no Device manager. But I tryed. And worked. Added TWRP and added CM9 now.

[Q] Bricked Kindle Fire - Not even Turning On

Well, looks like I made a mistake. I also hope I put this in the right place...
I ended up rooting my Kindle Fire, and I had installed TWRP and had a backup of the stock OS, to make sure I had somewhere to go after I screwed something up. I also installed CM7 which worked perfect, until I flashed ClockworkMod Recovery. I rebooted soon afterwards (to get into TWRP) and it wouldn't start up. Hard resetting doesn't do anything. No charge light comes on. My computer can't read it.
To me, the only thing left to do is to return in to Amazon in exchange for a new Kindle. Is there anything else that I can do to unbrick it? Any help would be appreciated.
have you read through or searched for unbricking techniques? What have you tried?

Thanks, but since my Kindle won't turn on the computer can't see it. ;-;

[Q] Royally bricked my Kindle Fire (1st gen)

I would like to start off by introducing myself (and apologize if this is in the wrong section). I'm Zach Anyways, I have a 1st gen Kindle Fire and I think I bricked it. I got the replacement one from Amazon and promptly rooted with KFU and installed CWM instead of TWRP. I later decided I didn't like CWM and wanted to go to back to TWRP. From inside of CWM, I deleted and cleared my caches, factory reset, wiped the SD card, and then put the update.zip from Amazon onto the root of my SD card while mounted from within CWM. I flashed it, rebooted, and it is now stuck at the "Kindle Fire" splash screen. Kindle Fire Utility tells me my ADB is online, however the boot status is unknown. I have basically tried every option in KFU and nothing is working. Also, the Unbrick Utility is a piece of s**t and never works, even with ADB. Am I screwed here? I really need my Kindle because there are apps on there that I absolutely require. I really don't want to order/make a factory cable either. Someone please help.

Might be just in the wrong boot mode, the good people in the kindle fire q&a forum will help you.
I fixed it by doing the USB boot mode trick (taking the back off and shorting a metal contact point) everything is working fine now!

[Q] KFHD7 Bootloop with pc not recognizing device

Any help appreciated. I was trying to install second bootloader to my kfhd7 and HAD twrp working and when trying to complete the process upon reboot when the red triangle recovery screen showed up(i thought nothing of it) and it asked to restore device or something else, i believe i chose the restore option. ever since i have been stuck at the splash screen with orange kindle fire replaying over and over. I made a flimsy fastboot cable(which is now broke, I ordered a skorpn one) and was able to get into fastboot but i absolutely cannot get the device recognized in fastboot or adb. Mind you i had the drivers/adb working previously. I fear that without FB recognition on my pc I will be SOL... running windows 8 and FB cable should be here tomorrow or next day. wanna be prepared when they arrive. In advance thank anyone who helps for your help.
psver the last week im pretty sure i've read almost every kfhd7 post out there and haven't found one exactly like this. do not seem to find anyone else having some much trouble getting ADB/Fastboot to see device as me when in this situation(used to be the easiest part for me).

[Q] kindle fire hd 7 brick help

ok. i successfully rooted this kindle with "root with restore by Bin4ry." i am pretty sure i was on version 7.2.1. i made an attempt at installing a second bootloader with TWRP using seokhun's noob-proof tutorial, step by step. bam, brick. maximum bootloop. i then went to use KFHD System.img restore tool, to no avail. KFFA, no-go. i made a factory cable to get it into fastboot, and it works- the only life it shows is fastboot screen or bootloop with the kf logo. only in fastboot with a regular usb does adb recognize a connection. now, my main goal is to just recover from this brick and carry on. i have scoured the forum and got the same thing every time. is it a permanent brick?
i'm not a complete noob, i have plenty of experience rooting and flashing several models of htc androids. this is just super confusing, cuz i can usually fight thru stuff like this. any guidance is appreciated!
