Selling my grandfathered AT&T unlimited data plan, I can transfer ownership of the entire account. I'm dumping it in favor of a simple phone, hate to see this go to waste.

Transfer is done on my end, anyone with an AT&T account can transfer to anyone. Best offer I have right now is $500. This is true unlimited @ $30/mo and not available anymore. The next best plan is $49.99/mo for 4gb. I've used 25GB in a month. Obviously worth it.

The last time this came up in the market several people claiming to be att employees said the unlimited data will not transfer ownership, only a minute plan can, if grandfathered.
A few others said they also tried this through a website for swapping contracts, and the unlimited data fell off.
I have yet to see reports on here of successful transfer of unlimited data from a att customer to someone else. Either way, I think the marketplace is the proper place for this.

Or you can buy an iPhone 2G and use that to get unlimited data ... just pointing that out

Now some of you people here probably saw my list on las vegas craiglist but it was never sold maybe cuz my price was too high $600 so now im just going to let it go for $400 shipped anywhere in the U.S
I know you can just go to Att and get this tilt for $300 but that ofcourse comes with a 2 year contract thats why you can get it cheaper..

I would get a Storm but not transfer to Verizon from AT&T for testing and messing around. I just sold my Bold and it was a lot better in my opinion then the other Blackberry models. I really liked the bold but didn't stick around because of the limited applications and customization. In addition, it lacks a full email client, BIS just doesn't cut it for me for personal usage and I really don't like how it handled email even with BES. I also had an iPhone and iPhone 3G and after jailbreaking it wasn't to bad and I liked it, I still believe its touch screen is the best out there. All three device types are for three different type of people and although I like to play with a Blackberry I don't see myself switching.

I already have a Tmobile contract that I get a great deal on, and I am getting the sensation one way or another, but I just want to ask more people's opinions who know what they are talking about. My original plan was this:
I recently got married and got about 300 in best buy gift cards and I was just going to sign a new 2-year contract, then use my current sim in my sensation and put a basic phone on the new line with the low 39.99 dollar plan (which to my knowledge is the lowest price plan.)
But I'm starting to think it may be a good idea to just find a way to get it outright?
The thing is, I just got married and I don't have extra cash. But I do have a perfect condition HTC G2 and almost 300 in best buy gift cards haha.
Any suggestions anyone? Anyone sold a G2 recently? How much did you get for it? Sold gift cards before? Is there a lower price plan? Want to trade me? Haha. Whatever, just give me information!

I'm in Canada and on a recent trip for a couple weeks through the States I had roaming turned off. However when I got home and received my cell phone bill, I had been charged approx $80 for roaming ($7.99/day 50MB automatically added by provider) so something on the phone was reaching out for data every day for 11 days even though roaming was turned off. The total amount of data used was 56KB
I looked at the data usage on the phone and below is what it tells me.

If I tap on Android OS it doesn't tell me anything. Has anyone else run into this? I've managed to get my cell provider to cut the charges in half but I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.
IMO it's now late to analyze something. You would have installed an app to monitor you data connection.
Unfortunately this system menu doesn't give a lot of details. I bet this consumption is caused by the 'backup data' feature.
How do you disable roaming when its unticked?,
I have disabled mine but it goes into roaming when im rural (same country), i get a message "connected to roaming charges may apply"
I just want the mobile service without data transmission,
I havent got billed as i took my sim out when i last traveled
I think its been a bug since 4.4.3
