Why dun u co'dev a custom Rom for our R ?
I'm sure with ur experience on Ace, u can do pretty well on the R.

I only make AOSP ROMs and I'm not very good at it (yet)

yes today google released chrome for android....
but now it only supports ics....
could any one can port to our devices?

As of now, it's exclusive to Android 4.0 ICS

Yeah its only for ICS! Cant port i coz it relies on framework of ICS!

It's gonna be more than just build.prop .
It requires backporting the entire ICS Framework

As I said , once we have CM7 working nicely , it should have the screen rotation , then we can port it stock firmware

[DEV][ROM][Port]REAL !!HTC SENSE GFIT

as ive ported htc sense to galaxy ace
i was asked by many persons to port it to Gfit
so i did that
Noob android dev
has searched for cm7 + Htc sense (ldpi version)
As i dont have a Gfit
i just have made a prebuild for other devs so they can help
i dont know if it boots or something like that
but it will NOT brick ur phone

Be aware after booting u see lockscree n then u need to wait few minutes until launcher starts
how toi install
format system and data
then wipe everything
then choose zip
done let it boot for 15 mninutes (first time only )

well its a bootloop wich can be fixed
had this too on ace
can u tell how much System memory Gfit has ?
and ram
after first bootanimation
normally by sense u will see lockscreen and when u unlock it u will see some kind of *bootanimation HTC* this is the Launcher loading so u need to wait for that

On ace it was memorry problem
U need to remove useless apps
But dont delete htc stuff
Or neccesary apps

that should be possible, our samsung kernel is not complicated compared to the atrix which is made for a lot of different phones
