New[Update]Junior member noob question

Hey all. First off I would like to say thx to all devs especially add144 and phidelt for all my noob help with customising my showcase. Also I think I'm becoming a xda junkie. Lol. You guys are the sh*t. I am currently running eb11 froyo on my showcase with cwr 2.5.x, stock kernal, rooted with super one click. I want to flash the heinz 57 rom. Just wondering should I flash the 5/3 or 5/7 version. Again thx for all the help and development that you guys are doing.

If there is a 5/7 version for showcase I would go with that. Haven't been in that thread in a few so I can't remeber if there is or not. I've been on the 5/7 version and see no reason why you shouldn't ie: Ive not had any real issues out of it. Then again I'm on a Mes and don't know if there has been alot of issues with the Showcase. May want to just check out the thread past the 5/7 update and see if anyone on there with a showcase has reported any issues just to make sure.

Ok so I flashed the rom yesterday. So far it is great. Also flashed ultimate honeycomb theme. Phone is fast and stable so far. Still tinkkering with voyage settings. Anyway how would I go about deleting the theme as I keep going back to go launcher.
(Would have put this in development but haven't posted enough sorry)

You shouldnt have any issue using the theme with go launcher but if you want to remove the theme you simply reflash the Rom.

Generally not a good idea as you can sometimes get remnants of the first theme to stick around.

oh you got to be kidding me!! this is too easy here. I was going to tell you to flash one of those miui but I was once like you. THE ONLY ROMS AVAILABLE FOR THE INFUSE ARE; INFUSED BY GTG465x, REFUSE BY H8RIFT AND BIONIX BY NOPCODEX90!!!!!!!!! IF you flash any other rom your device will explode.

isnt that for the i9000? rom manager shows us the i9000 roms because we use cwm for the i9000. stick to roms you see on the forum, we dont have a aosp kernel yet. it isnt imposible to run miui on a tw kernel, the fascinate had a rom like this but it wasnt fully functional.

Psst, it was a joke, hence the recommendation to download Ultimate Unbrick first. gtg knows better

re: MIUI Rom
None of the ROMS in Rom Manager Download option is for our phones except for the GTG465x entry where you will find the Infused 1.5.2 custom rom.
I have NO idea why all those other roms even show up in our phones......

It is very strange.... When I had the Samsung Captivate and I check the download roms section in Rom Manager ALL the roms there were for the Samsung Captivate.. I wish who ever is in charge of Rom Manager or the DEVS would fix the error.

let's make petition for MIUI rom

Who are you gonna make a petition against ? Look , first we have to complete CM7 then we can have MIUI. I personally think it looks like a retarted nintendo DS or something but thats me. Im almost done CM7 and when I get a hold of rz950, gtg and h8 we will have it, I assure you. Patience. I had to wait so long for any custom roms with my other phones, you spoiled brats should consider your self lucky.

with all the gingerbread roms floating around, who has the best rom with little to no problems?

I have KG4 and its great i love it, odin easy to use imo and its quick.

KH2 would definitely have the least problems, since it's the most revised version of all of our GB ROMs. However, NONE of them are easy to get fully working. Froyo ROMs are child's play to flash compared to GB ROMs.

Desxton kh2 icbinb..gives that stock GB look but with all the mods includes..thus being the complete package..also you can go to theme section and add the feeling blue theme adding overscroll amd accurate battery mod

I am waiting for gtalk/video as well. It is 2.3.5 and there is not video talk. whats going on? My assumption was that 2.3 would have video talk on every device.

I thought that was the point of 2.3.4? I mean when my nexus was updated that was the point of it, also other things yet talk with video was the core reason. Why don't we get it? either they still working on it or its device specific. As long as the NP has it I'm not going to have too big of a cow.

Does this update eliminate the random data/signal dropouts?

Can anyone comment on the voice quality of the new radios? I had to switch back to EE4 because I could not stand the static on the EP1W radios.

I flashed the bloated version, and it appears the stock browser only works on 3g/4g, it doesnt work on wifi. However, all other apps work with wifi.
Is this a known issue?

It will be a stock plus rom for people that want the stock look and feel. Stock themed, some framework mods, tweaks and custom Einherjar init'd scripts for speed and battery life, and more. Still working the kinks out of it.
