So I've got ADW on it and Opera for starters. Im still trying to figure out what all this can do. Im looking to load some apps now like for music and GPS. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It did some massive update to 6210 when I first got it connected to wifi. Im not ready to root it yet though. I definetly want to find a bluetooth keyboard for it that is the same size so it will fit in a case.
get some casual games! bejeweled 2, defender, fruit ninja, multiponk, paper toss, tiny tower, sprinkle, world of goo, etc.

Put some hd movies on.
Put some music and listen to it with power amp.
Don't be cheap, buy Grand theft auto 3, it's an awesome game and works perfectly on the sgt 7.0 plus.
GPS related apps:
GPS Test - useful app to check your GPS status
Satellite AR - awesome app for viewing satellites
SkEye - great planetarium app to view the stars and guide a telescope
All are free and available in the marketplace.
I found Robotek to be pretty cool also.

Found this earlier while on the Nook Color forum...Apparently the app was ripped from a HTC Flyer. Anyway, It's pretty sweet to watch the Arena mode live games that are going on all over the planet...The brag videos are cool as well. Curious how the latest FPS runs on a fully optimized pc and server? Be sure to check out (finally) all the Duke Nukem greatness.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138194 You do have to create an account (free), It's WiFi only, of course, and maneuvering thru the panes and choosing options is a little dicey on a 4.3" screen (better on a tablet like the Nook), but once you choose a game to watch, It works wonderfully. Apparently there will be a player app coming soon. Those with Roms that support HDMI out should DEFINITELY get this...Check it out.

I installed it as well on non-rooted Android 2.3.3. I thought the video was a touch dark, and had a touch a video lag/drop frames/skipping. Though, those could be the phone or the connection to OnLive. Overall, none of it was anything to ruin the experience.
There is a preference on the phone that lets you set the data cap for bandwidth of either HD (3Mbps) or SD (1.5Mbps).
I did notice not all the games on OnLive were available to spectate such as Bordlands, NBA2K11, and Mafia II. This could be some kind of licensing issue.
Sup ppls,
Remember when the Flyer/View was supposed to have a cool online gaming service, and all we got was an app to view it... Well till 2days ago that's all we had a boring app to view a gaming site, now we have been blessed with the actual gaming app from Onlive... about time.
If your looking for more gaming then this is the app to peep out, with more than hundreds of known game titles from Xbox, PS, and Nintendo games plus more for than a hand full to endulge in. The app is free, several free games, free trials (30mins) and purchasing games from 1$ up 59$.. when you purchase a game you'll be able to play it on compatible smartphones, your pc/mac, and tablets via WiFi or internet access.
I played a game or 2, great graphics clear and functionality was smooth.. it does stream nicely over WiFi and not bad over 3G (Sprint View). So go get the app for free in the market, link below with screenshots. You can also invite friends to have multiplayer abilities, so sign up and feel free to add me.. my username? Godzson of course "Game On"

So I am a gamer, of all sorts, and I like using tech to my advantage in gaming. Until now I had to mainly use a laptop, as my a500 was not quite up to the task of doing everything I need.
With the Note it is definitely a great deal better. Even been able to annotate character sheets.
So, with so many free and paid gaming apps out there, I was wondering if anyone had their favorites, suggestions, or comments, or anything at all to say about gaming apps.
For me, dicebox, pdf readers (iannotate, ezpdf, repligo, and others), and graph things like antipaper and lecture notes, and other dnd apps. My big thing is for reading pdf books and character sheets.
EDIT: Keep in mind, I am, as Magnesus pointed out, talking about tabletop games. Like DnD, Cthulhu, Marvel, Conan, GURPS, munchkin, and others.
There are many apps out there that are on the market for use, but I am curious who has found a good specific app or combo of apps to use.
If you like five card video poker, you should check out my app I must admit , the tablet makes it look real nice. Let me know what you think.

I click thank you by accident. What OP wants is not card games but tablettop RPG if I understood correctly.
for gaming, IMO the best thing you can do is root your note so you can use the ps3 controller with the siaxis app. then you can run all the various emulators and play all your favorite old games for NES, sega, etc perfectly.

yep i plan on restoring my apps via titanium and get that up and running
He is talking about tabletop RPG like DnD.
I just purchased the MK808B and will have it delivered tomorrow. I was curious what to expect with steaming apps. I live in a condo that doesn't allow more than basic cable so I currently use my PS3 to watch movies from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and Crackle. I was curious if other apps work like Directv Everywhere, Max Go, Showtime Anytime, etc??
As far as games go what controller do most of you use? I bought the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 to use for now but I assume I'll want a good game controller.

My MD808B arrived today. I bought it through Amazon from Geekbuying. It did come pre-rooted. It's a very fast device that operates with little to no lag. Not the my pleasing (to the eye) homescreen but not bad. I hooked up my Logitech K400 keyboard and was off and running within a minute or two. As I mentioned in my first post my main focus was on the streaming apps. I went to Netflix first, the play store downloaded a table version of Netflix and it ran with no problem at all. I generally use my PS3 and there is a noticeable difference in quality. The MK808B looks much closer to the SD while the PS3 has a nice HD pic. I have limited speed here (about 3MB down) so that isn't helping.
Up next I went to HBOGo. It works as well. The only problem was when you go to the login screen you can't see the text boxes once the onscreen keyboard pops up. Outside of that it seems to work well. Quality is about the same as I get from my laptop, which isn't great but acceptable.
Maybe the most important to me is Directv Everywhere. The app downloaded, fired up quickly and searched moved quickly as well. However I can't get anything to play. It just has a circle in the middle of the screen as if it's buffering. I'll keep working on this one because it's so important to me but I'm not very optimistic.
Crackle's app is small and downloaded with no problem. It's not the easiest to navigate but it did work and the streaming quality was similar to the PS3, not HD but "ok".
I tried Hulu, as most of you know it didn't work. Saying it was't supported on this device.
MaxGo downloaded and starts up with no problem. However when I try to sign in it keeps going back to the main page and without signing in you can't watch the shows/movies.
Redbox Instant doesn't work if you're rooted but there easy work around is to the turn off the superuser features in the SU app. Once I did that I was able to use Redbox but the quality was below average and it buffered repeatedly. At this point it's not usable for me.
As for games I tried a few and so far only Angry Birds works for my setup. Others like Swat FT were impossible because of how it's designed. Temple Run 2 wouldn't start because you can't click on "Play". Real Basketball wouldn't allow me to click on start or click to close the game.
Well it's early and I'm not giving up on the device but right now I would have to say it's far from ready for prime time. It certainly serves a purpose and I'm sure there are ways to make the most out of it but it's more work than I had hoped. Back to more testing!
