Hello everybody,
I have small problem with my HTC Desire. I have installed Oxygen rom and since then I'm not able to copy large files from phone to PC.
I connect to pc via usb cable, start usb storage on the phone, it appears in my windows system, when I start copying large files (large I mean >500 MB) at some point of the time transfers stops, phone disconnets usb storage (changes color from green to orange) and windows says that it can not find the file. Rebooting does not solve the issue.
This doesn't work only while copying from the phone to pc. PC to SD transfer works withouth any issues. In recovery mode everything works fine so it's clearly fault of the software or its configuration.
My hardware/software data:
HTC Desire GSM with Samsung 32GB class 10 sd card
Tested on 2 PC with windows 7 32bit and windows 7 64bit
Android 2.3.7
Kernel 2.6.35.14_r3-stable [email protected] #1
Baseband version 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.23
Mod version Oxygen-2.3.2-Bravo
Build number GWK74
Oxygen rom was installed on fully wiped phone.
I would appreciate some help with this, Oxygen rom is so far the best OS I had on my phone but this makes my ilfe a bit more difficult.
Thank you in advance,
Cheers,
Forget it, I fixed it by reformating the card.
Hello everyone:
My problem is not new, I had this problem with other devices as well. I plug in my triumph to my windows7 pc and it sees the phone (as CD drive), and shows the driver install but it won't let me look at the phone files and it doesn't see the SD card. I enabled debugging, Do I have to go into window to do...something? I'm still with 2.2 and I know 2.3 would speed things up a bit. please help, TIA
db.
Debugging shouldn't be the problem here... try restarting (your phone, and if that doesn't work, your computer too)... that solved a very similar problem for me.
Details...
Could you explain the steps you've taken in a little more detail?
For instance:
a) Have you installed the drivers by having Windows "discover" your device? or perhaps you installed drivers you downloaded from the web?
b) Does Windows recognize your device as USB Mass Storage at any time after you connect your phone via USB?
c) Does anything resembling "Removable Disk" appear under My Computer?
I just change my PC, this one is with windows 7, old pc with XP is broke.
Now when i connect my SL101 to pc, the computer dont see my tablet internal storage, i installed some drivers but no succes.
Where i can find some good drivers or what problem can be since i cannot use my tablet to pc?
I used those Naked USB drivers for my Slider on x64 Windows 7.
Hai friends,

I just want to plug a mini USB cable from the HTC One M7 to my notebook and have Windows 7 recognize the phone storage as a new volume in Windows Explorer.

Mass Storage, File Transfer, or MTP would (should) work.
