I had no problem setting up my Exchange sync, however I have multiple calendars on my Exchange account (1 account, multiple calendars), but the phone only syncs with one of those calendars. Is there a way to have it sync with ALL the calendars on my exchange account?
(And I did go to the calendars selection settings but it only shows one of my exchange calendars.

I have a question about the calendar app in 2.1 on the hero. If I have 2 google accounts with a personal calendar on one and a business calendar on the other account, I know that I can link both accounts to the phone so that I can sync the calendars down from google to the phone. So when you go to the calendars option in the calendar setting it shows 3 calendars, google personal, google work, and my calendar. The question is this. Is there any to create an appointment and have it only sync with the personal google calendar? Would I have to go to the calendar settings and uncheck the other 2, make the appointment and sync it and the check the other 2 again?

Yes, just use the top drop down menu when you add an event. By default it will only publish to one calendar, you just need to tell it which one. Personal you would use that calander, work, you select that one.
Hope that helps
edit: You can also go to the web calendar app and link your work calendar so you can "see" it on your personal one. Then when you use that google account on the phone the work calendar will appear in the "view calendar" menu. I do this for my wife's calendar and I can post to hers as well, I just have to tell the phone which calendar to add the event to when I create it, all from one google account.
will not sync with exchange server calendar, but works fine with email and contacts. anyone else having this issue?
I had the same thing happen to me. I went into calendar and unchecked all my calendars. Then I deleted the Exchange Account and set it up again. This time it synced up with my EAS calendar fine. I think mine was that I am syncing with some google calendars and EAS. After that I check my google calendars and they all came back.

thanks for the feedback; I did try deleting the account and reinstalled without any other calendars. strange thing is I have three exchange accounts and this new phone with HTC new Sense allows you to sync more than one exchange account, the other two worked just fine it is my main account that is not working with calendar only. I will try it again in the order that worked for you and see what happens,
update: it didn't work, there must be something with that one account, strange it will sync with my other phone and my Galaxy Tab
Hello,
I have set up my exchange account and email and contacts work great. The only issue that I'm having is that all my calendars won't sync. Only my main calendar syncs. Any ideas? My personal category syncs, but my home and work categories won't sync.
As a lawyer, I need to be able to sync my phone to and fro with confidentiality for my clients. I was able to do this before with my palm treo(legacy device), but now that I have made the leap into the new smartphone age I realized that androids sync with google on pretty much everything so I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to sync all of the stuff on my sensation without sending any information to google.
Also what is this tmobile theme engine they are talking about in this post:

When setting up your phone & using a gmail account, go to Accounts & Sync & uncheck syncing of contacts.
Then you can setup your e-mail accounts & contacts through HTC's exchange setup. This will not go throught google but will sync your phone to the exchange account directly.
Contact Sync
You could try using Microsoft Exchange as your email client. I use Exhange along with with my google email.
omar when i go into accounts and sync there is no feature to stop the syncing of contacts and also what is this htc exchange setup. Also i checked my gmail account and the contacts that are synced on it are only from the ones i input into google voice not my phone, but some contacts that are favorited on my phone show up on my gmail contacts as starred on android. So here is what im wondering: Does the phone only sync the contacts on my google account not all the contacts on my phone that i transfered for example from another phone

Your phone should sync each type of contacts seperatelty.
As for accounts and sync, tap on your google account and it'll open an another screen were you can choose (check) what you want to sync.
htc exchange, by going to accounts & sync > Add Account > Exchange ActiveSync.
This is only in case you have an Exchange Server to sync with.
I exchange email via Gmail only from my PC. I also have that same account setup on my phone (it is not used there), since Android requires it.
Since I do not want my Contacts/clients residing on Google's servers, I have Gmail sync turned off.
With Gmail sync turned off, can I now configure another non-Gmail email account, have it sync with my PC (direct via USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), without these Contacts ending up on Google servers?
I am having problems syncing all my calendars. I sync two google accounts with multiple calendars in each (my calendars). The problems is, that the second google account does not show all the calendars on the phone in calendar.
Also, I use Agenda Widget that I use as a calendar replacement. Under its options, it actually lists the missing calendars, but even if i check them, they do not show up.
So I deleted a bunch of my calendars that I use less, hoping that maybe it was something like it only allows a certain number of calendars. The second account will only sync the main calendar, not the other calendars i have under "my calendars"
I just upgraded from a myt3g running yoshi, and I did not have this problem with either the calendar or the agenda widget app.
tldr; my phone only syncs my primary calendar and nothing else from "my calendars"
