Could someone give me a guide or instructions for building kernel?
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
I'm not going to Google it for you.
Also its very hard work. Kernel devs are like football lineman. They do most of the work but no praise. While the fag quarterback that is 5'0 tall and can't even see over the damn shoulders and can only run the damn ball and is the reason I didn't make in the playoffs!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how requesting things work around here, so I'll just take a stab at it
+1 for a new Forum for the Triumph, I can see lots of development happening, as it will probably ship with an unlocked bootloader, as per This: THIS
+1 for the Triumph forum. I am very interested in this device.
Just bringing this back to the top with news. You can preorder this at best buy now for 299.
Normally radio shack will drop the price a bit on release for certain vm phones, can't wait to see.

+1 on the triumph forum addition. I'm preordered.
Im waiting to see the radio shack price. Im getting this though!
Is this the correct way to request a new forum addition?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Coming out of Lurkdom to say that I concur on the request for a specific Triumph forum....With lots of development and communtiy (fingers crossed)

I am very currious about this phone and if I had the money, I would donate the phone to the CM7 team. Finally a B-tier phone (non dual-core) with last years features for a great US prepaid carrier! I would leave T-Mobile for this phone.

Im leaving T-mobile for this device and a friend of mine is leaving Verizon.

I just bought an infuse 4g, so you'll be seeing me around here in the forums.
I don't like it. I'm going to improve it. I'd like to join a development team, or form one. I have not yet read in the development area and I'm about to start. If anyone would like to invite me to a current project then I'm down! Otherwise, if someone would like to start one, then I'm down!
I'm new to this device, but not to the system. Check out http://developer.adamoutler.com
My first project will be a one-click back to stock using Heimdall One Click.
Welcome aboard. Always good to have more dev talent
Happy to see you here Adam.

Is there any dev that could help build a app like the one here for iPhone http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snakekeeper/id445674512?ls=1&mt=8
Or would it be easy to build with the app builder? I'm quite happy with graphic side of it but never put a app together
If there is a dev willing to help put it together I would rather do that
There has been quite a few snake keepers in the us and UK looking for this son thought I'd help them out : D
Not to mention helping me out with mine

Not sure if this is the right section or not, but we are looking for developers that are well versed especially in UX/UI. We will be launching a test version of our app hopefully by the end of this week and are looking for more individuals for the team. Check out our website for more information about what we are doing.
Edit: modified title

im looking for a few people who are willing to learn developement and start a team for android projects. i will teach all that you will ever need to know about building and becoming a great rom/kernel developer. not looking for any negativity or trolling just some good friendly people on this.
I would like to try. Although my knowledge at this point is very little.

I would love to learn about building and maintaining Android roms. The longer I can keep this phone going, the better.
I would be interested in doing this - I'm always looking to learn some new skills. I have the same commitments to work and family that others do but would be happy to contribute whatever I can.
Anyone wanting to learn....pm me so we can discuss the teamchat

boy oh boy do kids ever eat up your time. i've had my "toy" car (a mazda miata) sitting in the garage for almost 2 years now, waiting for me to fix it. i already have all the parts i need, i just can't find the time to do it. my daughter just turned 5 last weekend and my son will turn 2 in a couple weeks.
i'd love to learn how to cook up some roms or even just learn more about the ins and outs of it all so i can feel more comfortable tweaking things, but that darn TIME thing... if only i didn't have to sleep...
that said, i wouldn't trade the kids for anything. best thing in the world.
ok just to let everyone know as a precaution to joining... this will require a linux setup and i will provide the android build environment setup instructions as well...the team chat is also on hangouts as it makes it easier to use for both desktop and mobile devices to stay in the conversations....so if you all pm me your hangouts info ill add you to the team

Thank you. I hate windows 8 anyway. I think it was a step backwards.
