Maybe you should use the app called "Rescan media"

They usually come back after few minutes of use. Every time you flash a new rom and start from scratch it deletes the thumbnails and recreates them later.

first of all, i thank u for showing interest in my query. u gotta be rooted to copy the file.....
here is the procedure....root ur chacha, use a file maneger (i recommend root explorer), go to system folder and then to the app folder. search for the camera apk and copy it to your SD card
easy enough.
even if u port it from the stock rom , the app it wont install in custom rom , i tried it . i tried editing cm7 rom and adding htc camera , with fb chat , and live walpaper .it didnt install properly
I think in aptoide there's a camera app, totally clean, in case you can' get the original one. Cheers!

hi. im new + noob here and need help.
im just installed CyanoCleanMod for my i9003 and thanks luiseteyo it worked flawlessly. although had few missing in here and there (can't kies, cant video record) but there is 1 thing i really want, live wallpaper.
is there is any way so that i can have live wallpaper for this mod?

Place this file in system/app/
And if necessary change the permissions of the file as other files in that folder are having through root explorer..
And if the changes doesnt appear dont hesitate to restart the phone...

no wont work,as it has only apk's...
try pushin the apk in sys folder or remove the meta-inf file inside the apk and try using !!
umm i tried it once on a old 2.3.4 custom rom and music tab was working but my music fc
had u removed the meta-inf file inside apk ?
i have ported it but there is only one problem,when you change the orientation it fc's,hope i will fix it soon

cheers finally had a successful port and no fc everything is working fine i tested it on wolfs stock rom,will upload later coz the connection speed is awful
I was using link2sd since long and everything was working fine but I dont know something went wrong yesterday now whenever I try create any link to sd it says
Cant create coz system is read only. Can you guys plz help me to overcome this problem
Any help is appreciated

1st don't post thread like this in development section ...2nd regarding your problem I know what u have done wrong ....u tried to integrate update to system which changed ur file system or messed up ur file system ....now d things u have to do if u have taken any backup of ur rom previously then restore it ...ur problem will be solved .....and remember don't ever try to integrate update to system ....Google play got updat now and then ...don't try to integrate this update or any system app update ...best of luck

And you just need to do a clean install of the same rom...

And does clean install mean i have to delete dalvik cache, format system and clean data from recovery mode then fresh install the rom ??

HEY GUYZ...
AFTER LATEST UPDATE CYANOGEN OS VERSION 12.1-YOG4PAS1N0 WITH ANDROID VERSION 5.1.1...MY WHATS APP IMAGES AND VIDEOS ARE NOT UPDATING IN GALLERY. THOUGH PICs CAPTURED BY CAMERA IS GETTING UPDATED IN REALTIME.. but not whats app images n videos.
i already tried moving out the files n then copying it again to their folders and also UNISTALLING N INSTALLING.
please guyz..help me out

i already checked that.. and it was not present....
please suggest some other solution bro...
Delete the folder, let the app recreate the folder then check if the gallery reads it
