[Q] tv out or sixaxis but not both? - T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

I just want to make sure there is no way to currently do tv out and sixaxis at the same time, correct?
Stock supports tv out but the kernal prevents sixaxis from working
Cyanogenmod supports sixaxis but has no tv out.
Thanks

Correct. CM cannot do TV out because it relies on sense framework stuff. Stock cannot do Sixaxis because HTC uses bluetooth libraries that do not support HID. I compiled a kernel with HID support and it still does not work for that reason.

That's unfortunate. Might have to switch out phones. Mt4gs turned out a disappointment. Thanks for the info

I'd love to figure out a way to get my borrowed Sixaxis controller to work with a Sense ROM.

Remote Controllers for Android ?

I was interested in getting a remote control specifically for gaming on my Nexus One. Anyone have any idea? i.e. bluetooth remotes/usb remotes etc....(I would like to have a usb conntected remote unless the bluetooth ver can use a Wiimote or a PS3 remote ...but any is acceptable)...
please advise me, I searched and I do not see anything mentioned except for a thread asking if the WiiMote can be used with only one response saying "+1"...
Any1 have any ideas/insight?
there is a app to get ps3 bluetooth controler working on windows phones what are the chances of this happening on Android?
There is an app to use a Wii controller for your Android phone. Search the market.

Yes I know but I was wondering about ps3 Bluetooth controler, I hijacked this thread after searching...
I think using a mixture of this.
showthread.php?t=689984
(which you use to fool the Sixaxis into connecting to your phone)
with ??
will get it working.
the top part is only half the battle there needs to be something on the phone to undestand the HID input it will get from the Sixaxis.
so what we need is something like....
Wii Controller IME (Found on market and Appbrain.com)
but for Sixaxis.
the best source I have found for information about Sixaxis + Mobiles
is above and The sixaxis with the HD2 look it up on youtube. video is called "PS3 Sixaxis on HTC HD2 using Fpsece"
So with the best will in the world it is very very possible to achieve.
you just need someone who isn't in there 3rd week of Android ownership and only in there infancy of Android development like me.
PS sorry I haven't Linked to information outside of XDA it is due to a restriction on my User account as i'm new. but I think with google you should be able to find all the relevant pages I have mentioned.
PS3 Paired with Android
I am also very interested in this. Does anybody know how to use a PS3 controller to control an android device?
Any updates on this in the past few months?

Game Controller for the skyrocket

Searched but didn't find any info about the skyrocket.
I haven't tried one yet, but I think a Phonejoy may be a good option from what I have read.
You can use a wii controller with the wiimotecontroller app

As long as you have Bluetooth, both should work

Samsung replaced the regular Android Bluetooth stack with their own that doesn't support game controllers.
In order to get a Wii or PS3 Bluetooth controller working, going to need to use an AOSP-based build like Cyanogenmod.
There's a program from the Market that will enable support for Playstation 3 controllers. They can emulate mouse mode with their thumbsticks, etcetera, but the hard part is trying to find a game that's controller enabled.
The app sixaxis controller off of the market will work for our skyrocket. It will allow you to sync up to 4 ps3 bt controllers. Sixaxis controller also requires root access to work.
I am using mostly emu games and used Sixaxis seems to work well but you have to connect it manually from the PC if you connect your controller back to the PS3...
So I tried the wii but it wont connect...

[Q] Xbox controller and galaxy note

When ICS comes out for the galaxy will i be able to use the USB/BT joystick center app to use a xbox controller (with a wireless dongle) to play stuff like nova 2 etc. Just wondering if it'll work once the update is out

To quote their app description in the Play market;
- Support for Wireless Joysticks (PS3, X360, iCade, Wii Remote, iControlPad, Zeemote)

The app definitely supports the xbox controller.
As for your device, I see two main parameters that will determine whether it will work.
Android 3.2 (or newer) Device with USB Host Port

On the Samsung product specifications page for the note, they state that it does have a USB host port.
As well as:
(ICS 4.0.1) has no “USB Host API” support. You need ICS 4.0.2 to use USB Joysticks

Do you know what version of ICS it will have?

Well its been delayed slightly and the recent leak of the galaxy ics rom was 4.0.3 so i think that'll be the version
I think the OP is trying to use a wireless Xbox 360 controller with the USB receiver. Not sure if that will work, it might require special drivers. The wired controller would work though
well the software i was talking about has the drivers for the wireless receiver so i don't see why it wouldnt. I was also wondering about its compatibility with games etc.
hey guys i m not able to connect xbox wired controller to my galaxy note ! when i connect controller via OTG cable the controller light flashs 3 to 4 times and then the light stops flashing ! is there any way to connect wired controller ?

I am torn in a decision...

So there is a really cool app on the market for ps3 sixaxis controllers that lets you control any game (even ones without gamepad support) with a ps3 controller.
The Bluetooth stack that is included in stock based roms for our device doesn't allow pairing with controllers like the wiimote and the sixaxis....
However cm7 does I Clyde a compatible Bluetooth stack and I can pair it and play Nova 3 with my ps3 Controller.. yet, HDMI doesn't work in cm7 yet... so I can't let my phone just be my game console...
And in stock the HDMI works but doesn't have a compatible bt stack..
Do any devs know how to replace the stock Bluetooth stack???
Sadly we can't make anything
unless LG goes open soucer ... and that is not gonna happen
why? no one knows

Custom Rom that allows support of the DualShock4 Controller (PS4)

I've tried googling this for a long time now (me no expert on researching stuff) but yeah, self explanatory title.
ps3 controller works so i bet the ps4 does. no custom rom needed

So um yeah i just tried connecting a ps3 controller with s7's otg adapter. Tried mapping controls via PPSSPP Emulator. Nothing works.
Just bought the newest version of the ps4 controller and it does connect using Bluetooth, but it has a small lag. Works with ppsspp and other emulators, doesn't work with ported remote play app. 8bit nes controller still better for me when playing emulators. On stock updated rom s7.
