bbm on Android

Android friends, I heard about bbm on android and didn’t believe it works, so I tried to make a research to figure out this issue till i found.
Well here is the bbm for android:
Yes it looks like a bbm layout and yes it works by adding others pin but u cant chat to persons that own a bb and bbm them, this application works as a bbm but ONLY BETWEEN ANDROID USERS. You can 100% fake your friends.
So if any one of you need this application I can send them the apk, just install and add friends.
note: pin bbm here is called NIC.

Instead u can use the watsapp so that u can chat to all other people (independent of os.)

Whatsapp is the best, but this is fun where we can fake people and say nothing can stop android.

did you already try "Viber", its like BBM and you dont need a pin.. you'll just need your same number..

No way to get it to work with bbm then?
i refuse to buy a crap blackberry just to chat to a load of people who refuse to text me and refuse to use kik messenger
btw.. dont like whatsapp, as you HAVE to know the persons phone number so no meeting new people without giving out you mobile to them who can be anyone

Hello.. Instead, Use wechat or weixin.. it has much more functions, is multiplatform and now they just integrated VOIP. you can chat to people arround the world and is more secure than whatsapp, bbm

i dont think so. if u need BBM, pleas just go to store and buy BB device.

Whatsapp is also on blackberry, as well as WP 7 and iOS. It's the perfect messenger. BBM is useless unless its blackberry to blackberry and even then they can just use whatsapp

It doesn't connect with the RIM BBM. LAWL
I agree that ANDROID IS ANDROID and having BBM on it is totally unnecessary. Use a cross platform messaging app instead if you want to connect to BB users.

I think WhatsApp is available for this... but I will try this too

Yeah, it's already mentioned. Though personally I prefer Viber.

Generally bb and bbm are suck in many ways....
and i m using android....
but sometimes we have no option,,,,
cz 1 important person I want to comunicat and his blackberry always stuck for ym or gtalk or whtsup...
one work is bbm....

[APP] [MOD] Carbon - Twitter client v2.1.1 (By-pass token limit )

Recently , Carbon ran out of token limit for new users I.e new users won't be able to use this amazing twitter client ( thanks to crappy Twitter API limitations ) , anyway I have moded the app so that token limit is no more a problem.
All features working fine AFAIK. Apk is signed , no root needed. Hope its useful.

yes , The moded app has different tokens to that of original carbon app , that's how token limit no longer applies

updated to v2.1.1

It worked for 5 minutes and now its crashing.

It's not that it crashes after 5 minutes, it's that it crashes only when I scroll past a vine on my timeline. I done resets/re-installs/data clearing. All problems point to vine.

You should make it so that we can use our own tokens not yours

This. I'd love to be able to have my own tokens for Carbon (I may be wrong but I think having my own tokens would decrease the amount of rate limit issues I get).

I'd like to see this too. I saw that there is an xposed mod that can so this as well, but I usr e ART so no xposed here. How do I add my own tokens like OP and the modiule? Thanks.

Is this the only solution for token limit? Why the dev of carbon didn't just add multiple app token and choose others when a token reach to limit?

We are a group of small developers of India. In India there are many Free SMS Sending Sites available online. Problem was that there were no app for mobile to send Free SMS using those sites.
So, we made 'Wayr'
An app in which you can send Free SMS to any number and any where in India with an user friendly GUI.
As the app is new so we do expect some bugs. So, if you face any bugs or problems, post it here.

You mint does not. Work
I want to say that you mint does not send message in Bangalore so please help .it says went successfully but does not reach to the mobile. And I tried with the web To you mint . Com but that also didn't work so please change the portal. Like way2sms and make the ui As free sms India coz

thanks bro one thing when using contacts is not nice please use like the default contacts app
put some portal fast need it badly and add chats like functionality.

We are working on different UI for Contact List... (Stay updated on twitter.com/quappic)
Meanwhile if you like the default contacts app then select the contact you want send sms to... Chose Send Message (Icon beside the number) and you can select Wayr to send SMS through

How is the development going on. Any new updates. I have removed the app since the gateway is not working for Kochi, Kerala. If you could gateways like fullonsms, way2sms ultoo. Then it will be great. They are the fastest one sms delivers. Other gateways sometimes send msgs. But I wonder where its going to without receiving in mobile.

First of all, thank you for giving a mirror!
Unfortunately, the person I've texted didn't recieve any msg till now. This is probably a fault on YouMint's side, not the app. So, please include some other popular gateways (Way2sms, for example)
For the app itself, it's nice. I tried many apps from playstore (especially Free SMS India, now discontinued), but none of them worked. So hoping that this will work nicely.
The interface is pretty, unlike those apps I've tried before (A little girly though, but doesn't matter ); and it's simple, making it easy to use.
Some suggestions:
1. As mentioned before, please include some more gateways.
2. Implementation of emojis like other messengers would be nice.
3. A silly one, but why don't you remove the white background from the app icon? Only the "W" might be nicer.

Honor 8 Long SMS problem

Hey There Guys,
I have an issue with my honor 8 SMS. When i try to send long text messages, not too long about 90-100 chars, it does not send it. The stock SMS app was doing it then i installed Textra but still have same issue. Splitting long SMS feature is on but still same situation. Do you have any idea?

is it start sending then fail or what happened exactly ? try to use FB msngs as default
sms and try it out or try hangout app .

Happening to me as well on stock messenger idk why, but I just split up my texts manually not that big a deal

On stock app it says sending and stuck like that. with textra it says sent but never get delivery report, also it is not delivered to adress as well.

Can u go play store and download google messenger and install it and replace with ur current SMS app and try again .. will work

May it be a problem with network? Like if my network provider doesnt support honor 8?
