[Q] Unlocked HD2 in India

Hi,
I bought a TMobile HD2 unlocked in India. Am planing to update the phone with the latest software version from TMobile. Once i do the update can i use the same unlock code to unlock my phone so that i can use it.
OR
Can i install a custom rom with Windows & Android installed.
Am just worried that if i install a custom rom if the same unlock code will be still valid.

yes u cn use it. and once the network is unlocked it will not get locked again by rom updates.

[Q] Upgrade stock rom

my device is on stock,
S-OFF unlock for all network and
baseband verson is 12.56.60.25u_26.10.01.03_m
can i upgrade

[Q] Bootloader Unlocking

Hi,
I am planning on flashing a custom ROM on my friends Atrix 2 (At&T variant) and i know i need an unlocked bootloader to do that but i can't find a perfect solution to this online, can anyone help me on how to unlock the bootloader on this device?

There is no bootloader unlock for this phone that's why you can't find it. All the information you need to get started flashing is in the development section. Most, if not all, ROMs have detailed instructions in the op of each thread. Basically you need root, a recovery app called Boot Menu Manager (or BMM for short) that is more like a boot hijack, the ROM zip you want to flash and some info on flashing an FXZ in case you get into trouble. Be sure to read the thread detailing how to use BMM successfully and follow the directions in the ROM thread as to which system(s) the ROM can be flashed on (you can multiboot up to 5 different ROMs with BMM). Be safe through reading/researching, have fun, and welcome to the community! :thumbup:

No.. We cant unlock bootloader.. Thats how we roll..XD.. But I think its a general.. Atrix 2 stuck with locked bootloader.. in development section.. Theres too many thread on custom Rom and how to install it.. Good luck..

Hi,
First of all i would like to apologize to everyone on this section since i am really not good with sony.
So i have a device which has a locked bootloader that cannot be unlocked. As the title says i am looking for custom roms or rooted roms with bootloader locked. As much as possible i have searched the development thread but cant find any.
So can anyone give me a link or something of a recommended rom for locked bootloader?

As far as i know, that i've observed here, Revolution HD is the most popular (the one made by yash989)
Being stuck to locked bootloader sucks, my friend's SP is locked by carrier. i understand the feeling :/

Yeah. It really2 sucks. I dont know why they do this.
Anyway will keep on reading about it and hopefully get an easier way to install. Thanks by the way.

Galaxy S7 unlocked bootloader/tmobile petition

This is just to discuss tmobile unlocking the bootloader at some point and keeping people updated on the situation. Some people need to know if they will get root or an unlocked bootloader so they can return their phones.

This is the only current open thread. All others were closed down for some reason. I think the first was because there was a lot of off topic questions. The problem is that some people need this information and there is no where else to get it.
