"extract the gApps file and Use android commander to copy them to their respective folders."
Guys, what the meanings of respective folders? Give me Examples! Thanks...
The respective folder is system/apps
Eg..if I want to copy "maps.apk" then paste it in system/app. Now u will get this location "system/app/maps.apk
Got it?
galaxy fit + CM7.2 (2.3.7) + 801Mhz
let the folder u extracted ur stuff be "extracted"
ill take an example of a file in the framework folder
ex : extracted/system/framework/com.google.android.maps
copy the file com.google.android.maps to the system/framework folder in your phone
similarly the others

i am not a genius on this, but upon seeing what is "inside" updatescript, it's more or less a program that dictates which installs, like say, the boot.img, or the busybox.... but of course i can be wrong...

you can try to read this though...
According to Geekfor.Me
"This script is required for an “update.zip” style flash in Android so that it knows what it is actually supposed to do."

Hi!
The META-INF/com/google/android/update-script file inside an "update".zip archive is just a normal text file you can open with any text editor and edit it to your needs. It doesn't depend on any files, so you can safely copy it from another CWM update.zip file and put it in your newely created update.zip file for CWM flashing. Oh, and "update-binary" is also in the same folder as the "update-script" is.
The "update language/syntax" is a little bit strange, but nothing major to fuss about.
Hope you can do it!

The name of the zip file should be: bootanimation.zip
And it should be placed in /system/app
Do you got that?

I rename it to bootanimation.zip and copy it over but it doesn't run when I reboot the tablet. I think I am making an error with the desc.txt or maybe even the graphic files?

I've edited ur bootanimation file. Try this.
Nope, didn't work. Thanks though.
It should've worked though.. i recommend you to copy the orignal bootanimation.zip file of ur tablet. And edit it. Do not edit the desc.txt
---------- Post added at 01:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:44 PM ----------
If your tablet is rooted just edit bootanimation.zip in ur tablet. Copy PNG images in that zip. and try. Keep a backup of zip file in case if this method doesnt work,
Here's how i change my bootanimation in FireNote rom, i used htc one google edition bootanimation....
1) Download this zip file => ForBootanimation
2) Extract files and copy these to following system folder:
-a) make a back if the files are already exist in the system/bin/ folder
-b) copy these two files bootanimation and samsungani and put it to system/bin/
-c) copy bootanimation.zip to system/media/
3) Reboot your phone..done!!!
It works for me flawlessly, please note this was tested with FireNote rom only...

You're very welcome bro, thanks a lot to your awesome rom.
Do you extract the zip and then put in system media or the whole zip? All i get is a black screen and then the lock screen.

I got it. I had the permissions wrong.
All credits goes to @arter95 for making Lollipop themes enabler.
1.Download Lollipop themes enabler:https://www.mediafire.com/?a5x3ru8iq3occ75
2.Then extract it.There are two folders called app and csc.
3.Navigate to System and paste both of the files inside respectively to system/app and system/csc.For folders set permission as rwx r-x r-x and for apps set permission as rw- r-- r--.
4Now go to system/etc/floating_feature.xml.
Open the file and replace this line:
<SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_COMMON_CONFIG_CHANGEABLE_UI></SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_COMMON_CONFIG_CHANGEABLE_UI>
With this line:
<SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_COMMON_CONFIG_CHANGEABLE_UI>themev2</SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_COMMON_CONFIG_CHANGEABLE_UI>
5.Save changes and reboot. Now in homescreen you will find a theme option alongside wallpapers.
