Chinese forum - Motorola Atrix 2

I don't know nothing of chinese, but seems interesting.
Please someone more familiar with chinese take a look at this:
bbs. gfan .com/ mobile/ android-3395131-1-1. html ?extra=page%3D1
(I can't post links....)

Let me help ya out. This redirects you to a site to download a zip that has these 2 links
http://dynamic.xlpan.com/file/128759/78b6b2e9-a897-4c79-a7a9-4b6ce5bcb7e8

they look like an sbf but... I cant sign up to download it, and i have tried a few times now lol..

it's the most popular atrix2 forum in China, the page u indicated is a sbf file for atrix2 china version only, don't know if it fits the att version. probably fit the Asia pacific version.
the file name is 'ME865-普通版-edison-user-2.3.6-5.5.1-1_GC-90_EDISON-11-33-release-keys-ChinaRetail-CN.rar'

Can you download it and re-up it with say.. Dropbox? It would be nice to tear into. I think the only big difference besides language (easy fix) is the baseband.

of course it'll have English, and I can download it very easy, but it seems a problem for me to upload it to dorpbox or sth, u konw y.
but I can give another link, U can try this

Hi!
We alredy have the chinese fxz, here.
Here is the link to the thread. I played and played with it, several have even tried to flash it, and lost phone and data, because of the baseband. Unfortunately the boot loader is the same as ours down to the byte. I so wish it would give us more wisdom or even a pearl, but not much there, to use, that we don't already have on the phone.
Have fun hacking away with it though, maybe you will find something I missed. It is nice to have another here, to bounce these kind of things off of.
Link to the thread:

Link to the file:

I'm finally downloaded those files... But it seems daywalker04 was faster then my upload speed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415336)
Anyway, it may help in future so.... Other links will be available as soon as the files get uploaded....

EDIT:
Thanks Jim,
Just to be clearer. This is completely useless compared to daywalker04's ROM !!!

Please DO NOT confuse what daywalker04 uploaded and this file. They are 2 different things.
What is posted here in this thread is the Chinese ME865 Atrix 2 version. You DO NOT want to flash this to an American MB865 Atrix 2. You WILL lose all ability to make calls, and use data, due to the radio differences.
What daywalker04 posted is 100% the American AT&T MB865 firmware fxz file.
We have pulled apart both versions (the Chinese, and American) of the fxz and there is nothing in them to help us in the hacking of this phone. The only thing this gets us is the ability to return to stock if we soft brick.

这3个rom能对比分析出Me865的BL解锁码吗?

Any HTC Stock 6.1 ROMs in nbh form without radio out there?

Been trying to get used to flashing from SD card but can't seem to find a Stock ROM that is suitable. They all seem to come as exe files. I found a good list of reconstructed 6.0 ROMs but can't find any 6.1 ones.
Does this mean everyone flashes to Stock via USB first? Or am I missing something ?
I would like to know this too!
I pulled the nbh from the exe on at&ts website but when I tried flashing from my sd card it only changed my spl and radio back to stock but not the rom.
try to unrar .exe file with winrar

Thanks. Look like what I was after. Will give it a try next time .
I think almost all cooks have their own stripped 6.1 ROMs. I have one in my thread, and I think zelendel posted one in TPC's thread.
I posted these before.. but here it is again.
Below is the same is the one linked on the other post above. I just named it with correct version number.
Kaiser HTC ASIA HK WWE 3 34 721 2 no radio
RUU Kaiser CINGULAR WWE 3 57 502 2 no radio

Thanks for those . Any particular difference between the two versions? Is the Cingular one onlt for AT&T maybe? I have a UK Orange Tytnii.
Just thought maybe I shouldn't be keeping recommended radio when I reflash ROM? Is it best to reflash original radio first too or doesn't it make any difference?

Damned if I can see anything in your ROM thread or in TPC's lol. I've also tried every search term I can think of.
All I can think is people who bother to do the recommeneded flashing back to stock must be using usb.
Anyways I have a couple now so next time here goes .........
Thank you.

No I'm not. Maybe I am going blind but all I see is your link to the AT&T stripped rom but I'm looking for HTC - as I said I've got a UK Orange TytnII which from what I've read says it should be flashed with HTC stock. Or maybe you are saying it doesn't matter which stock rom? And there is definitely no mention of stripped rom on TCP's page - I know that by heart now lol.
Anyway I have 2 now so I will have a go next time. Thanks again.

How dare you jump in here with that attack. I really object to this. Where have I been impolite? Have you read my OP?
For the record I not only read the instructions. I devour them! Then I learnt them parrot fashion before I began. I have been a lurker round here for years but only started flashing last week. And for the last several weeks I have been trawling through literally thousands of posts to be sure of getting it right.
Now please show me on those instruction pages where it tells you how you can find a stock HTC ROM without radio that can be flashed from an SD card!
ai6908 kindly referred me to his page where there is only a link to a stripped AT&T stock rom and to TCP's page where there is no mention either. I was also asking if it was necessary to reflash the same radio every time as none of the instructions mention if you have the radio you need already. Still not had an answer on this so maybe it's just a stupid question - just wish I knew the answer lol.
Thankfully more helpful souls than you have provided me with the file I need. Thanks again F1ip and Pisca.
Some of you people on here can be arrogant so and so's. I belong to many forums and have never come across anything like it. Look at all the space you wasted flaming me and now me having to defend myself! No wonder the kids on here post the way they do if this is the example they get set by senior members. I would wager well over half the posts on this forum are pointless flaming. And just ask yourself how many questions are really new and have not already been answered by someone somewhere here. And look how much space would have been saved if you hadn't butted in here on your high horse without reading my question properly .
Rant over.

Stock ROM is the same, it doesnt matter much for it being HTC or AT&T. Base ROM is the same on both of them.
Actually in my opinion, you dont even need to flash to stock ROM. I never flash stock ROM when I flash, and I flash about 10 times a day sometimes.
Sometimes occational hard reset might help. So in my opinion, just flash to any ROM, and do a hard reset after flash and when it prompts for screen alignment. That should solve all your flash issues.

Interesting, thanks. Certainly would save time not having to go through the whole rigmarole every time. That's one of the main reasons I was asking about the cut-down roms. As least I wouldn't have to keep doing the radio as well. Now whether with my lack of experience I should be going against what the 6.5 chefs seem to all be advising ....... .
On the other hand I may never flash again since TCP's latest seems to tick all my boxes. But having summoned up the courage to get going in the first place and it opens up a whole new lease of life for your phone, you kinda get a bit hooked. So maybe when I find one where MotoHome runs fast and smooth on my old Kaiser ........

Apologies accepted . As you might be abe able to tell, the flaming that goes on verywhere around here really gets to me and you certainly hit a nerve. I sometimes wonder if I've wandered onto some Fight Club site by mistake lol .
Yes I do know the exe files can be uncompressed but the radio is still in the nbh file - and one guy who tried using the nbz file on its own said it flashed the radio part ok but not the rom itself .
What I will do is delve a little more into what makes up the unzipped nbh file. Might be a good way to start getting into this kitchen stuff .

[Q] Help with finding Original kernel / rom?

Hello all! im new to the forum but not new to forums.... i would appreciate some help.
When i first got my S2 7 months ago i rooted it, now basically the charger port is broken & thinks its charging when its not, ive phoned orange and theyve said that its still covered by Samsungs manufacturers warrenty so i would like to revert my phone back to original spec, however... i cannot for the life of me find the correct kernel etc etc. it seems the ones from megaupload have been deleted.
Can someone link me to the original kernel that i need?
my phone details are,
- UK
- Orange
- GT-I9100
- Version 2.3.3
- Baseband I9100BVKH1
- Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKDD-CL161513 [email protected] #59
- Build Number Gingerbread.BVKH2
Thanks in advance for your help guys!
JordyRoo
Now then. I wouldn't worry so much about the version which it left the factory on. You receive OTA updates anyway so the likelyhood of it going as original stock is slim, they
sammobile.com is where you need to be for all you samsung roms. suprised it didn't come up in your search. You need to register a free account to get the download links. but the roms are hosted on hotfile so they all live and good to go.
This is the page you're probably going to need. giving you anymore would just make it too easy

The big red download doesnt work!!! That is why I asked.
Im coming from htc one x, htc one, galaxy s3, and I have never been fussed at so much about asking a question about something I couldnt find....I know how to search. I find ALL kinds of stuff on restoring to gingerbread, but very limited on ICS, and the few spots I found, I couldnt find a link that worked.
I finally found a spot that had those 3 US fxz variants listed and just wanted to ask a simple question on which one to use.
I do search always prior to asking questions...and I do appologize I wasnt able to find the answers to my questions prior to these.
I do appreciate the help though, much...thank you!

Ah well, don't be offended. If you stick around here long enough, you'll get tired of reading/answering the same questions over, and over, and over again, too.
If I had a dollar for every time I said that, I'd be making money in a very weird way.

Trying to collect as much I can, need help.

So I began collecting all the firmwares, custom roms/kernels and tools I can get (RSDLite, sbf files, rom zips etc)
to put them onto my server(s). As it seems like they keep dying everywhere, its a mess seeing that lots of the firmwares are still linked to megaupload, or other dead file services...
But still miss a lot, if anyone can offer downloads, go on. ill collect them and offer them for the community.
Post all you can find here. Thanks in advance.

Somewhat Obscure request?

I've been trying to find the correct firmware to put on my HTC Incredible 2 to run ICS or later ROMs like Chillybean's CM10 Unofficial, etc. Seems that anyone who posted links to that firmware used the same host, which is now down. Does anyone have a legitimate link to one of these firmware versions? (I need the whole thing I think, not just radios) File name, for reference is PG32IMG.zip (or should be when flashing in HBOOT)
Anyway, thanks for the help!

i put the fille name you provided in google and got this.
use at your own risk. i dont know anything about your device to know if this is the correct file you need, or to provide further help.
Thanks for googling that for me.
I'm looking for firmware for the vivow (Incredible 2), not the vivo (Incredible S). This is of course assuming they're not the same thing.
The links I was referring to were in this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846304
among others that use the same references.
The first firmware link refers to a rather large file that has a completely different checksum (so probably fake) and the second mirror link is broken.
This is really just a shot in the dark for someone from the original thread to still have, perhaps as a backup somewhere, a copy of the ICS firmware files.
All that said, I got the thing working without new firmware, just new radios, so maybe unnecessary?
Thanks for the assist!

You're not wrong. It seems that both phones use that same filename, for whatever reason. Not sure if that means the two phones' firmwares are interchangeable or not. Might be good to find that out actually...
Anyway, sorry if I offended you with that comment, and thanks for the replies.

i wasnt offended, i was merely pointing out that i found the file you asked for.
maybe the 2 devices can use the same file, i really dont know anything about the 2 devices to say, but there are some rare situations where it happens.
i wouldnt try it to find out, unless your in a position to buy a new phone. if you try and are wrong, usually, but not always, the device will be unfixable.
