They will all work on the XE.

Why don't you try it out?

Assuming you have HBOOT 1.18.0000 (which you should) then you can just use Revolutionary to S-OFF as you would the normal Sensation
i gues it would work

Got my Sensation XE today.
Would be interesting if we can flash normal Sensation Roms.
Kernel an Hboot are the same?
Kernel is ROM dependent, I'd imagine it would work fine but I've no idea how the clock speed would be affected as the stock XE ROM runs at 1.2GHz on the original Sensation as opposed to 1.5GHz
Nandroid and give a ROM a go. If it doesn't work, restore your nandroid/flash the RUU
can one of you who have the xe get us the kernel so we can find out how its running stock at 1.5?
the stock kernel isn't released yet.
Is it possible to extract the kernel from stock xe ruu?

(Bootloader Unlocked and S-OFF, but no Root)
Can Sensation XE share the ruu with Sensation ? Do they have the same hboot or radio?

Hi,
They are basically the same phone.
They both have the same hardware.
They can share the same roms,hboot, kernels and radios.

In addition: Stock RUU of the XE can not be flashed with the original installer, but if one cooks them, they can - as already said by malybru - be installed without pain.
Anyway, for battery reasons I suggest installing a modded ROM.

There is No ruu for HTC sensation xe India ( if I remember correctly )

I had also raised a case with HTC and asked them to provide RUU. High hopes
They replied take the phone to service center. ha ha.
Waiting to see if anyone has Indian RUU. It might help a lot of users.

There are several versions here for ASIA
ASIA_TW - Taiwan
ASIA_WWE - Singapore, Malaysia etc i guess
But none of these are applicable for sensation xe for india -
The file will look something like -
RUU_PYRAMID_LE_ICS_35_S_hTC_Asia_India_3.33.720.106
for ICS
for GB it might be
PYRAMID_LE_GB_XX_S_hTC_Asia_India_1.7x.xxx.xxx
I am not able to find it anywhere.
