Hi i have an old advent vega and want to use it as a media centre. I have the dock so audio and hdmi out put will all connect as well as usb drives. I want to leave it conected and just use my galaxy s² to control it like a remote. Is there any apps out there that would do this.
Thanks.

Hi All....
Glad to be part of such an effective forum.
I've already searched the forum for what i want. Hence starting a new topic.
What i want to do is:
- Play something on my PC. i.e., a movie file.
- Listen to it over BLUETOOTH on my Android phone
WiFi, Internet is not an option for me.
Reason:
I've a new 24' Display and hence wanna view it at a distance using my phone to do the wireless work over bluetooth.
I've used GRemote Pro. Its to just control your pc's mouse pointer mostly.
I need audio to be streamed over to the phone.
Specs:
Win 7 32 Bit
Android 2.2 Phone. SGS i9000.
I've added my query as a general question as it must be the same for all android phones
Any Help is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Somniloquist
Hey all, I'm looking to get a Tab 10.1, as I'd like a portable device that can hold movies. One that I can watch them on, and one that I can USB to my xbox or a friend's blu-ray player. I'd also like to be able to use a Torrent client and d/l straight to the device.
So my questions are:
1) I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but Android (the Tab specifically), can function as mass storage can it not?
2) Is there a Torrent client that can be used on it?
3) Does the Tab have XviD/DivX/avi/mp4, etc support?
Many thanks.
No one? That's too bad...
why not u post this on galaxy tab dedicated subforum instead?

Hi all,
I have a question, therefore here is my idea:
The idea is simple - i would like to use my old device (Desire S) as a media box - being able to have internet on my older television, put movies on the SD card and watch that over a micro-usb -> HDMI cable and have my current phone working as a remote controller.
Is this possible and if so does this exist already?
Thanks for you input.
