If you do a Google search then you weill find plenty of links to FB apk files.
Or just copy it from another ROM that you have downloaded and use that one instead.
go to android market and search facebook for android

Each front door (android ICS) have different locker (framework - UI).

And if you have the FULL FUNCTIONING HTC camera 3.0 w/Camcorder(so camcorder does work and so does everything else like burst,HDR, panorama, & etc)

These will not install, getting errors.. any one have better luck?
I imagine these need to be flashed, not installed with package installer... at least that's what I thought I saw with gApps. Could be wrong though.

Either change permissions to allow all or adb push to system/app then reboot.
make sure you've deleted the other gtalk and backup your camera.apk before removing the original files.
Is there any way to get to work on cm7? Or is the camera for sense roms only? That's the only thing I miss about sense is the camera/camcorder.

HTC camera will not work on CM or any AOSP ROM due to not having the Sense framework, & for the Talk with video, there should be a g-apps you can flash with the 1..3 Talk or look for "root talk" in the market.

got it working once on AOKP but screwed up by installing the S version
Hey guys, I got the cosmic wallpaper from another site and had it run on my AOkP From once but then I tried installing the updated Xperia S version before reading that it doesn't work with ICs and kept on fc-ing.
Now even when I remove it and go back to the older version it refuses to work
Any suggestions?

thank you! well software like htc sense and samsung's touchwiz and in this case the lg software they all are based on aosp the aosp is heavily modified and the companies put on their own closed source codes so you will have rewrite some of the xml files you find in the apk which you want to port and add some universal code i dont know how to explain it well but i hope this was helpful and thanks you again.

You can use ad2sdx.someone test it.unzip it，and use re explorer to copy the 40ad2sdx to system\etc\init.d.Remember to change the permissions.
i tried this rom with cronmod A2SD++. It's too lagy for me & home button didn't work. Did not try w/out a2sd script, maybe much smooter w/out it. Thanks for your hard work but i'm switching back to 2.3.30 gb.
I'm trying it right now with A2SD+, it feels OK. My home button works, my overral impression is good, smooth, a bit under other jb roms, but almost the same of VJ's miui rom. Maybe a bit better though.
I needed to install the play store, even if i was able to configure my Google account.
I stay with this rom at the moment.
Someone knows if Xaomi will release jb 4.2 miui soon ? Then, this rom will have the benefit of lastest evervolv team work.

As far as I know miui is closed source. The only way to translate (the texts) it would be apktool but I don't think that the algorithm and the engine could be changed.
