Suspecting MIGHTY ROM of bad stuff.

ok so i hacked my touch pro 2 a while ago and used mighty rom as the flavor of choice. installed some japanese lanugae suport and some apps including a facebook tab for manilla. here is the thing. i use my cellphone for my hotmail and for my facebook. shorty after using my phone for the facebook app i spam msged some account and facebook security told me it happend from a log in in peru! wtf?
also i dont use it for hotmail any more becuase it would mass send spam msgs
i dont know if this is a virus or what but the mass spaming stoped when i yanked my batery.
i dont think windows mobile is safe when its hacked...

you sure youre not using dictionary passwords?
Random letters numbers and capitalizations are pretty much required these days. Also make sure youre not using the same password for multiple sites.
Ive had both my Facebook and Hotmail accounts hacked a few months back. Facebook is used in WM, but my Hotmail was just forwarded to gmail, so my phone has no record of it. Not to mention Im sure theres people out there who monitor and check all network traffic on all devices. IF this rom was sending out malicious data, Im sure someone would have picked up on this.
Just use really secure passwords and use lastpass for both mobile and computer. its like $12USD a year to use mobile iirc. Problem solved. Let them try to hack a 10+ character random password.

my password is 9 charectures long and 1 special charecture its somthing you need alt codes to get. some how the way windows mobile stores passwords is NOT SAFE. i have 2 diffrent passwords for facebook and msn

[Q] Problem with Facebook For HtcSense

hello every one
i have a problem with the application Facebook For HtcSense
when i try to log in i get this massage:
service temporery unavailable
im trying for 2 days now
you think its a problem with the application itself?
the option Clear data Via the recovery can solve this problem?
or you know a better way?

im having a problem with mine too

From my experience and through google, it appears this is a problem with HTC and no resolution will ever come from it. Use the Facebook normal android app (which admittedly kinda sucks) and friendstream also won't be able to use facebook as a result.

my friend stream widget works fine. i even view pics with it with no problem

[Q] Stock E-mail app on ICS 4.0.4 AT&T ... Connection error ?

I am using the official ICS from at&t on my SR , unrooted...
I had many apps disabled from all applications menu .. (including social hub , IM , ..... etc. from the bloatware) ...
When I set up my yahoo mail acount using the stock mail app , it works for may be 2 days then starts showing "Connection wrror , time out" or something ... and stops to sync and work properly .... Is it a usual bug within the stock mail app in stock ICS 4.0.4 ??? maybe due to one of the apps I disabled ?? had anybody such a problem with it ?

I have the same prblem on my Samsung S3 with Gmail. Let me know if anyone knows the solution

I have a similar problem on my SR. I'm currantly running dark ROM and everything seems to work except for trying to connect to my POP email accounts. It always returns as connection error. Gmail comes through with no problems.

Always tried to use the native email in stock ICS and it always sucks...Now using the Yahoo mail app from the google play and done with it ...

The thing is that my fb app shows me Lost Connection every single time I connect through the mobile network, but messages does update and I can chat. When I connect trough wifi there's no problem. The background for my case is that I bought an Xperia Play AT&T in USA but I am using it in a south america network. Also I deleted the port and proxy from my APN, because I couldn't download apps from google play neither browse from the original browser. Once I deleted the proxy and port I could browse and download from any apps except facebook. I would like to know if there's a way to fix it without adding again the port and proxy cause I won't be able to browse freely. Thanks!!:good:
