will this ensure that android will boot on our HD2 with the files put on the root of storage card or will it still encounter problems?

This ROM is NOT(!!!!) stable, it does NOT fit for dayli use. It is a bunch of binary **** which makes your phone bootup sense. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH THAT!!!

I would like every type of help everyone here can give. I am not a real developer.
As I can see, I can not simply take the Desire Z Launcher and smash it onto this ROM and AFAIK the Desire Z is the only Sense 2.1 device with an hardware keyboard.
Rosie does not even appear inside the logcat when using the Desire Z launcher, so I will experiment a bit tomorrow.
If anyone of you can help with fixing a bug, he should feel free to do that.

There seems to be a touch screen issue with the Aroma installer. The calibration seems way out.
I know that the early Aroma packages had a built in touch screen calibrator, but alas I cannot find one here.
Cheers to the OP.

I'm terribly sorry about that. The calibration I've given is for my Desire Z. Would someone be interested in obtaining the calibration data for your HTC Desire S?
Replace the aroma-config in this directory /META-INF/com/google/android/aroma-config with the file i've attached.
When you flash the pack with this file you will be prompted to calibrate your touchscreen. Please follow the instructions. After that you will get a result which will look like this
calibrate("1.9235","27","1.1262","34","yes");

Of course with different values.
Please report back the values you get so that i can post an updated pack.
Note: Remove the .txt extension to the attached file before you place it in the pack.

Thanks i dont have this device so sadly i can't test at all will see if there's a fix!
Well this is the problem. I do have Nexus 7 and want to try Android L but... what on earth is the sense of posting not working and not tested stuff?
Are you serious?
Eg: I want to repair my Bentley but I wouldn't give it to a guy that never had more than a Fiesta...
You mirrored maybe a bad images because I already have working tgz fastboot images from another place.

Seemed to flash ok buddy but won't boot. It just powers down. I press the power button for several seconds and google logo shows for 3 seconds then powers off again.

Then you don't get xda!
Xda is a place where you can post your work you've done, and you don't need to have the device to actually build a ROM!
I just want to give you a test image of the new Android L you can appreciate it or just scream at me like i am stupid your choice!
(AND I DON'T NEED ANY DONATIONS!!!!!!!)

Nope. You are wrong. But you might not know this because you're from 2012 (join date).
Many years in the past there were here true developers. That wanted to share their own work. You just reposted images without testing it at all.

Maybe he should make a full wipe or format system from recovery.
Flashing images from fastboot also wipes userdata (in this case) so it should work.
