Hey guys, i got my xperia play today, and i tried getting the 4 free games, found here : http://www.sonyericsson.com/eapromo/?cc=gb&lc=en, but when scan the barcode and i download them, i open them up and it says 'this game is a free trial...'. Is there anything im doing wrong or do i have to do it a specific way?

I had that problem, I just didn't bother getting those game after i relized it was a trail. There are other ways of getting those games...

I got those games, they do indeed say they are trial, but continue and allow it to donwload the data, when it`s finished and the game is about to start it asks you to login, when logged in it then says play free game! They are indeed truly free and full.

They are EA games, you login to your EA account.

They aren't a trial, read the rest of the thread, you didn't need to find any "other ways"
the only one i had problems with was nfs hot pursuit, said i hadn't made a purchase yet? any ideas?
And im assuming that 'game unlocked' means i have the full version?

EDIT: Un-installed and re-installed, that did the trick
You don't need to log in, just click 'my account' after the data has installed and a box will pop up saying you have the full game. I don't have an EA account and workedcfine for me.

GameTime Plus and League Pass are 2 separate apps which add-on to NBA GameTime free. They do not work without the free app installed first and their features are independent of one another so what one add-on does will not give you access to what the other add-on is capable of.
GameTime Plus only provides live in-game radio and post game video highlights.
League Pass only provides streaming live video during the game.
When you install League Pass it successfully merges with the GameTime free app as you will notice it then says 'league pass enabled' when you start the app and the ads are gone.
However, when attempting to install GameTime Plus, it does not seem to locate or acknowledge that GameTime free is already installed because it asks you to install it and tries to take you to to the market with an unsuccessful search string. Therefore it does not successfully merge like the League Pass add-on and instead, creates a duplicate GameTime icon. Any attempt to access a gametime plus feature says you need to purchase it so the install is not successful.

you mean league pass (with game time free)? that's the one that is supposed to let you watch the games live.
game time plus (with game time free) gives you live radio and post-game video but not live video.
can somebody please upload the FREE version of the app, for some reason all my downloads are stuck and starting download

i had that problem earlier, all u have to do is cancel the download, and hit install again. if that doesnt work, restart your phone then try again.

I tried searching the market with my search strings as "nba digital" or "nba gamte time".
Both results did not show the nba game time app. Any idea why? Thanks.
I dragged league pass into my sd card and installed. Installation completed but the games were all blacked out..I d-loaded location spoofer to get around the ip but no luck. Anyone else have a solution yet? This app is more important to me than the NFL one yet that one works flawless...on wifi that is

If you guys open the game time app, press the menu key, select "more" and then "blackout information" they're pretty clear in explaining that none of the vpn, proxies or spoofers will work to get through the blackouts. Hopefully someone comes up with a method they haven't covered yet.
I would love to have this app but I don't want to pay $45 when my hometeams are blacked out. I hope it gets hacked like it did last year... came in usefull at school and work.

when ever i dl league pass, dosent show up as an app to install on my phone
i can see it on my sd card, but it just has an gear and like a window pane.

Just run regular Game Time after installing both and you'll have the Plus features.
I would like to be able to use the League Pass. Nothing shows up though for the games or schedule. Everything just shows not available....

there not installing
uninstall the one from the market if you have it in there.then install them. i had the same issue

did anybody get the hack or patch yet for this?
the two files in post #13 work. you need to uninstall any previous version of gametime you had before or you will keep getting the "not installed" message. now we just need an updated mobitv league pass apk in order to watch live games. the league pass apk posted in the beginning of this thread doesn't work with the updated game and game plus apk's in post #13.
I bought need for speed shift off of the android market but the xperia play buttons aren't working with the game. what should I do? I couldn't download it from the plays get games application because ever since I flashed it to stock uk 2.33 when I try to get a game from the get games application it says my phone is not supported. I'm in Canada on Rogers.

oh my God did you read anything I said? I said ever since flashing to stock u.k. 2.33 the get games/xperia play games application doesn't work. when I click on a game there is just takes me the general website. for example if I click on asphalt 6 it just takes me to gameloft. com. same thing with EA games.
I would email them and tell them you have an Xperia play.they should send you a code to download from their website

For those of you who love order and chaos this is a big day
Update 1.0.8 (patched I think ) brings back our beloved gamepad!!
Just start O&C, download the new update and install.
Everything is working fine so far, it shows up in the game launcher and the gameloft store says compatible and able to purchase again (when you go there by your launcher)
Note: What I did was, clear O&C cache, delete datafolder, uninstall game, then reinstall.

I have only Thema Market Version. Installed again... First one free month gametime ;-)
Version is 1.0.8 and touchpad controls works but is not playable. The controls are very confused and buggy

Did you wiped game data (could be in sdcard/gameloft ( old versions ) and sdcard/android/data ! ) cleared cache and deleted app ?.
For me gameloft games gets fuzzy when old versions and files are still there. So make sure you delete everything game related.
Also I noticed when you pauze and start the download your game files get messed up with force close issues etc. So make sure you download the files in one row without stopping it. ( This is what I experience with buggy gameloft games )

As a general rule, I'd always recommend buying Android Market versions over anything else.
EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF GAMELOFT. What Gameloft puts on the Android Market is almost always some outdated ****; and if you're an Xperia PLAY owner, you'll find less than 5 of Gameloft's 24 Xperia PLAYable titles.
I really can't stress how relieved I am to have this working again. The touch screen controls were killin' me, and then they released an update that made it seriously unplayable.
Only complaint I have now is that, for some reason, that damn 19MB of phone storage consumption is back. They already have 1GB of the game's data moved to the SD, take that other 19MB with it! That's about 10-30 more app installs I could have.

If you have a Samsung device and are up for some sideloading it's available on the Samsung Apps Store.
Considering that WayForward is an English based company and this game has already been released on multiple platforms in the US, I can see this version hitting the Play Store in the US at some point.
Though in my case, I already have the DSi version of the game (note that there is no DS version, only DSi since it is a downloadable game).

Yeah i know, but there are many people playing this game without buy from google play. They say thats no problem to download game's apk from internet. I searched this error but there is no result about it. Idk how i fix it.

you can use lucky patcher to patch the game
Actualy guys i don't think that here in Xda is alowed to talk about craked apps or cracking apps
