Hey folks,
I did a little research on the forums, but couldn't find a dedicated thread. It seems that you cannot activate any CDMA phone on Sprint's network. If that's not the case, I'd love to be corrected. If so, can anyone just explain to a curious mind why?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer this newbie.

Hello all, I am new to this website and a newbie to the evo. I found an adroid app to roam only by Mr. Gregg apps. He then led me to this website to help me "root" the evo to use this app. I honestly am not sure how to do this, or is this something that I should not even think of doing? I need this option though, because where I work, I can't get very good service. My evo constantly jumps from sprint to no service to verizon (roaming) then back again. I can't get it to just roam.
If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Dorothy
Hi guys.I have simple mobile sim card (which works with T-mobile towers) and I get galaxy sii gt-i9100 (universal version). the problem is I'm getting 2g (edge) speed only, I read that you can flash your radio firmware after rooting to get HSMA+ mode then you'll have the 3g\4g internet.I already rooted my device but I don't know what to do now!
please anyone can help?
I need some help about that too, I wish this post had more attention, and replies. So I'm kinda moving it up right now.
Btw it might be impossible for us to get 4g, but I'll be happier when I get 3g instead of 2g. so, I'm looking for a solution too, I'll keep you posted if I find anything helpful.

Unfortunately there is no solution for that. I already sold out my phone and got new Galaxy s3 (T-MOBILE VERSION) from ebay for 519$ and I'm enjoying the 4G bless..if you need any further assistance I'll be more than glad to help.
Hi y'all,
I was wondering if there are threads and guides in this forum to allow me to induce software changes to use a verizon s3 for use with Rogers in Canada. Hopefully HSPA+ data will work too :/
Thanks for any help my way, appreciate it
Hi I'm a noob and I have no idea if this is the correct place to ask this question so I apologize if it's a dumb question. I ported a number from a Verizon iPhone 4 to a T-Mobile iPhone 5 on Straight Talk (I'm amazed that I was able to figure that part out). I would post the APN that I used, but it won't let me because I'm a new user.
Everything works great except it only seems to be getting 3G. Does anyone know where I can get APN settings to get LTE speeds? I've tried various APNs by Googling, but this is the only one that works at all for internet. All of the other ones I've tried can't even connect.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately we don' deal with iPhones here at XDA Developers. But, we have a sister site for that! Head over to iPhone Developers and check it out!
Good luck!

Phone is basically sitting on my desk ever since I upgraded. I have a friend with a broken iPhone that desperately needs a new one. It's S-On. I know the phone is capable of working on AT&T's network, I just don't exactly remember how to do it.
Bump. If anybody has any information for me on how to do this, it would be so much appreciated.
