I have a carrier locked samsung galaxy gio. I am really new to flashing/rooting. So, please someone tell me SAFE method of flashing/rooting my samsung galaxy gio so that I can use any sim card on it.
I heard baseband should be same of ROM. My phone's baseband is S5660VXXKQ4.
Please help me with easy to do and SAFE tutorials.

OK bear with me on this. i have scoured a lot of the internet to try and figure out to root my Samsung galaxy s II sch r760. it isn't as common i guess because i couldn't find anything i could use. i am completely new at this so if you could help it would be greatly appreciated. i already have Odin and kies and stuff like that but i cant really find what to do/ the correct thing to get. any help?
