[Q] What is a rom for the HTC Sensation 4G that fixes bluetooth issue with wiimote - HTC Sensation

Hello. I have a question in need of answering. I need a Rom for the HTC Sensation 4G that allows me to hookup a Wii remote via Bluetooth. i tried CyanogenMod, but it created another problem on my phone. I recently bought grand theft auto 3 10th anniversary edition and it freezes after i leave sleep mode/standby mode. Does anyone know how to fix the game freezing issue. It does not happen on any other games. i tried everything from rebooting, pulling out the battery and searching the internet. if anyone knows how to fix this problem i would be very glad. If there is not a fix for the gta 3 issue, does anyone know another rom that fixes the Bluetooth Wiimote problem? Other than CyanogenMod.
Thanks Very much

Only aosp based roms right now work with wii mote (so CM7 or miui). Not sure about the newly leaked ics alpha from HTC though.

[Q] wiimote?

One of the biggest reasons I'm aiming for an android phone is the emulators.
I would love to be able to play nes/snes/n64 etc...
I have seen that you can pair a wiimote with a fair amount of android phones, but phones running sense are incompatible from what I've seen.
If the bootloader stays locked for good (no custom roms) is it still possible to get around this?
Or maybe someone could test this with sense 3.0 when they get their sensation.

Your evo doesn't use 3.0 Bluetooth it still uses the old one HTC put in their phones. Someone with a sensation will need to test this. Ports don't use the same Bluetooth as the sensation.

[Q] Will a new ROM solve the late SMS problems with 1.47?

Morning all
I'm one of the unfortunates affected by the problem with 2.3.3 version 1.47. When the phone is connected to a 3G or HSDPA network, all the 2G functions stop working. Well documented, well known, and no sign of a fix until this week when it looks like 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 are being released.
My DS has been stock until this last week, and I've been running it with mobile data turned off just to make sure that calls and SMS work - which isn't too smart for a smartphone
Since the problem is definitely with 1.47, I was hoping a new ROM would solve the issues. I was recommended CyanogenMod, and thought I'd give it a go. So, I got used Revolutionary, got S-OFF and installed CWM Recovery. Went off to the CyanogenMod website and realised they dont have any stable builds for the Desire S at the moment
So, having had a look around here, and realised there are equally good alternatives, I think I'm going to try Virtuous instead. That's all fine, and I'm quite looking forward to it.
Will it fix the problems though? Anyone?
I don't suffer from this problem. But I can seriously recommend virtuous. It just works perfectly and when I was using it I had no bugs whatsoever
Also I would recommend cyanogen if your not a big fan of sense

[Q] couple small issues after root

after rooting to AHRD ICS 4.0.3, 3.25.401.101 etc. it takes a little while to go from 3G to H, what im trying to say is it takes a while to do anything that has to do with the internet, thats the 1st small issue, is there a fix for this?
the other issue is after rooting my phone, alot of games from the market force close and say there not compatible with the device or somethin like that...there has to be a fix for this, before rooting i was able to download any game and never had a problem, but now all the "big" games force close right away.
if anyone can help me with these issues please post, thank you all.
Data connections are a known issue on ics roms
As for games have you changed your density settings?

Rezound Bluetooth.

I am having a problem with my HTC Rezound connecting to Bluetooth. I know a lot about the android operating system, but the phone I bought off ebay is rooted and I know nothing about that. The Bluetooth pairs and connects, but the phones plays through the speaker and not the Bluetooth device. Anyone have an idea to help?

Is it on ics? I never use bluetooth so maybe its on an older ics build that doesnt have working bluetooth

It reads;
CyanogenMod version
Redefined ICS Senseless (beta)
There are older versions where Bluetooth doesn't work? Is there a newer one where it does work and if so how do I go about installing it?

Bluetooth issues
Not sure about your current ROM but lots of those ROM's have bluetooth issues. Especially if they are in alpha or beta stages. Your best bet is to flash a rooted stock deodexed ROM and see if that cures your issue. It mostly likely will. Then chose a custom ROM closer to stock that does not have bluetooth issues.

[Q] Jellybam 3.2.0 bluetooth problem

Hi. I haven't got the post count to ask this in the Jellybam thread, so though I'd give my problem a go in here.
Is there a known issue with the Bluetooth in the Jellybam roms? I've tried 3.0.0, 3.1.0 and 3.2.0 and with each one I can pair the phone with my car but the phone book wont load up and it phone keeps disconnecting. Also despite it being set to use the cars audio, it does not.
Previously to this I was using Stickman89's Jellybean JBMIUI rom with no issues.
A full wipe was done when switching from the JBMIUI rom.
Any ideas guys?
Cheers.
Can't help but can confirm the same issue, all day in the car it kept connecting and disconnecting to my Bluetooth car kit.
Have you noticed it keeps going into silent mode? I am sure its related.
Yes I am using jelly am 3.2.0.

Yes I had noticed that, but put it down to the constant connecting/disconnecting of the Bluetooth. I'm hoping a fix can be found as otherwise this is a great rom. If not I'll have to revert back to JBMIUI rom.
Jellybam is not the issue I believe. Android 4.2 changes now android uses Bluetooth and as such has broken a lot of things for people like we now cannot connect Wii remotes via Bluetooth as we'll get an error stating that the apps cannot find the path to it

Unless I'm missing something Jellybam is 4.1.2. So I'm pretty sure it's not the 4.2 Bluetooth problems I've been reading about.
Update.
I gave up on JellyBam (which is a shame as I liked every other aspect, but not JellyBams fault) and tried a couple of other Jelly Bean roms. Both of which had the same Bluetooth connection issues.
So it would seem the only Jelly Bean rom where the bluetooth works is Stickman89's JBMIUI rom (other JBMIUI roms may work also). Though due to me being bored of the MIUI rom now, I've gone to an ICS rom Elegancia sense 4.1 v3.2.0
I shall keep an eye on Jelly Bean as hopefully this Buetooth issue will be solved and I can go back to JellyBam at a later date.
