Honestly, I do not know how much interest there will be in this, but throughout my own exploration and experimentation with Android and the Epic 4G I feel like sharing my finds with the community.
I kanged this tool from HERE so thanks to Daneshm90 among other people who are thanked in the tool itself. All I really did was add a few BOOTCLASSPATHS to the *APK.bat files to get it to deodex all the apks, and update smali/baksmali to version 1.2.6 (newest as of 3/25/11).
Basically this is a one click tool to deodex stock, odexed system/framework and system/app folders on a windows machine. I tested on the ACS Untouched Stock EC05 ROM and got clean runs where everything became deodexed.
Tips: I found it best to do system/framework first in one run, then leave the output in deodexed_JAR, and THEN process system/app as many of the files in the app folder have dependencies on the jars.
After processing system/framework you will have framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk which do not need deodexing.
In early testing, I found certain files leftover after a run processed on the next run. This stopped after updating smali/baksmali. I doubt I'll be of much help if you run into problems, you are doing EVERYTHING at your own risk. I barely understand the details here, I just ported it to work on our phone, so good luck!

Just take an odexed frame work, put it in the folder and run deoall.bat, then repeat for app. Pretty much it, if you don't know the point then you probably don't need it, lol

Yea I tried using it to deodex my eco5 stock rom, and it ran clean and gave output, but the output wouldn't boot.. I ended up going a diff route which included using a tool made for another phone and doing some by hand...

I know its not the hardest thing to do, But am rather happy about it i have only tested it on DonutHD and am unsure how to change the lock screen at the current moment, if someone could kindly tell me be much help

This is not sample.. Create backup in sdcard with theme installed structure.. example: /sdcard/theme-installer/backup/"$THEME_NAME"_"$THEME_VERSION"_"$THEME_FIRMWARE"
Simple with root explorer replace this files with system files and wow! revert ok

superb app but manually replacing files is really bad idea. I think installing & removing themes with help of ur app will be a superb idea.

You have more good idea for backup?
I can create backup and not replaced if found, but the sistem can't check if the files is original or not..

Hmmm, what about creating a folder /sdcard/external_sd/theme-installer/ORIGINAL_STOCK_<your-firmware>/ and placing all that system apks as well as the framework in there?

Universal theme need less space on my zip because use only one version for more firmwares, according from gingerbread and froyo system...

Universal Theme? How shall this work? Mod the apk's, etc. directly on the phone? Sounds like you want to achieve something as the theme changer on MIUI.

Need more test but overwrite some files example android.policy.jar and framework.jar if need.
Prepare a test package and release for testing.
No get feedback but I have choose the method, use universal theme for this app.
Froyo is finished now go to gingerbread..
For add new themes need more help from themers, I have selled my phone and now need more testers for my work..

Hi Friends, I have try to make theme looking little bit S2 like. I have changed drawables from framework-res of s2. I have also changed icons of apps same as s2.
Added S2 keyboard.
I have used morphing file made by ammar786 and I am thankful of him for that. As I have edited darawables to make this theme, now it should work on all GB firmware. But I need some testers for that.
This time ammar786 has helped a lot which u can see here.. So he should also be thanked. So dont forget to thanks him
New version change-log:-
1.Based on S2 ics stock look(little bit)
2. Added system back ground
3. Ics style holo progress bar
4. Changed icons to ics style in gmail,gtalk and voice search app
5.Added modded touchwiz launcher from here.,it is really smoother than stock one.
6. More polished battery icon and some other changes.....
Installation of new version:-
1. Put the zip file in external_sd.
2. Open cwm recovery.
3.If u r on other theme then flash deodexing file first and then my theme only.
4.If u use any mods than first flash deodexing file then flash mods again. Then flash my theme and at last flash fix file from below link.

I think your phone should be dodexed.
Older version will work on all the stock gb roms.
As I have edited darawables in files to make this theme, now it should work on other GB firmware. But I need some testers for that. Download link is below.(Not for ddlf2/xwlf2)

i have made it for ddlf2 value pack. i havenot tried on any other rom....so dont know if work on any other.

Most probably it will not work on xxkpe as its framework is different from ddlf2. U can try it by flashing on ur own risk....dont forget to do android backup

mods are available in this theme section. u can flash mods(mods like 14 toggle,ics animation,crt on-animation and etc...). it will replace some of system files only...no apps or data will be deleted.
good work. i would use if i am on gb. also can u make battery, data and wifi icons look like S2/ICS? it would be so cool.
can you give us step by step on how to flash this in our device. thanks. what actually you add in messagin only the keyboard? can you add also the whole messaging app the keyboard, the board where we type etc.

Hi, friend thanks for support. I have fixed powerbutton-menu problem. Here is your fix.
At present day. I am browsing through Galaxy ace section. There so many Roms with perfact S4 like UI & all are like eyecandy ui.
Request.all fit developer for RoM like S4 ui, touch wiz 5 ui, transperant ui.
This is just for request. Because I m not details developer.but. I always like development.

yes bro i agree but resizing is easy i found out a way to do it!! i ll write a guide soon on it!! but the prob is the updater script issue with ace and fit!! i gets lot of softbricks and can never debug them!!! itz been a headache for me!!! if anyone is willing to help me on the updater script i can surely do a lot of ports!!!

i had same problem in porting paranoid rom(4.1.2) . after signing with kitchen, rom booted .try signing zip file.
for updater script you can compare them (our updater and original) . if you have linux , meld is really handy in comparing 2 files or folders.
some roms need specific codes. for example in miui porting you should set 06755 permission for invoke-as.... google for that.
