A bit to Newbie Here!

Hi Guys,
I am totally new to this Android stuff but I love it and would love to learn about it. I have just bought an HTC Magic (32A) which has a logo of TIM on it. It has firmware version 1.4 and the build number is 2.15.901.4.
What I want to do is upgrade my phone to the latest version of Android, and also have the Sense UI installed in it. But I do not know where to start or what to look for. Can somebody here, kindly, briefly describe how can I achieve my target or atleast point me in the right direction.

P.S you need to root it, flash the new radio, SPL and recovery and then flash a ROM of your choice which is for the new radio. (2.1 Sense ROMs for the new radio are better than those for the old one(3.22)

Yea, I know I should google it but googling didn't help a bit. I am a bit too confused right now.
I have found a few tutorials on how to root it.
After that, how to flash the new radio. Instead, I should ask, what is radio?
What is SPL and how to flash that?
What is recovery and how to flash that?
Which ROM should I flash to? Can you also give me a link to one?
I am sorry, but I know nothing about Android. A little more help would be appreciated.

tired of using 20a :(

iam using my o3d for 4 months fully rooted with megatron but i have no idea of how to flash any software version im still on 20a i heard that in other baseband even 3d and speed is improved but i need to change my rom im tired of using the stock rom i changed my rom to thiazo but it didnt give network signal because of v20a rom.. So over all can any one plz tell me how can i change to v21e+ (latest) with the easiest way

I recently unrooted my Galaxy Tab 2 with an official Samsung 4.0.2 ROM.
I'm quite happy with the ROM, and have noticed that when I connect the Tablet to my PC and start up Kies, I receive an Update request.

What do these mean?
PDA:LE2 / CSC:LE1 (XSA)
PDA:MH2 / CSC:MH1 (XSA)
If this is an update from Android 4.0.2 to 4.2.2, how do I get around it?
I've read about other guys with the 4.2.2 update for this tablet, and they say it is very slow. I do not want this update.

Thanks, is there anyway to speed up the tablet without rooting it again?
Or do you know of a Rom that is better and faster than the cygenmod?

1. Nothing AFAIK except reducing the animations/transitions in the developer options.
2. Yes of course but I can only suggest you to have a look at the Development forums of your device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/10-inch-development (SlimLP, Candy and OmniROM should work fine).

idk since I don't have the same device. You can ask in the Q&A forum though: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/help
Other users will probaly tell you that you have to flash all roms to make your own opinion.

[Q] What's new in Galaxy S6 Build G920FXXU3COJ1 ?

Just now I connect my Galaxy S6 to PC & found there is update with build G920FXXU3COJ1. When I was trying through software update it says I'm uptodate but when connected with SmartSwitch it gives there is update. Anyway I want to ask what's the new in this build since it still on android LP 5.1.1.
