Its actually fun to make them yourself! You can find directions and programs on xda to help you.
If be willing to take a crack at it. I may not get it to ya till beginning of next week. PM me with yours ideas and what type of rom you use and I'll see what I can do. No guarantees lol. Would be cool and a lot easier if you have a vid in mind from the net...like a short one from YouTube. Pm me

Found your thread because I was searching for a Skyrim boot animation. I can make them only if they are simple. I don't have the time or skill to do a lot of PhotoShopping (I use gimp).
Any progress on such an idea?
I was trying to find an animation I could loop of either the warrior with the fog rolling behind him

Lol i wish i had that frame.....oh and for the speed its actually slower in the zip file....you can even make it slower if you want by changing the desk file in the zip folder

Since I've been on here for quite a while and profiting from all the excellent work people put in this (now & thanks to them)
great phone, I thought it's time to give back a little bit.
What I did was take the awesome BIOS animation for the X10 created by ve6ay
which in return was based on the work of Frysee (so credits basically go to them)
and modified it a little bit so the whole actual animation is through until the now
blazing fast phone boots up, plus I've included the all-known and beloved troll face
as a tribute to z's and the others work and because it's just beautiful, so without further ado, here's the preview:

Here's a new boot animation, essentially a cross between the Nexus S and the SGSII boots.
Nothing hugely elaborate, but I was pleased with the end result.

Is dithering a matter of compression, or simply its a fixed-colors indexed format like gif?

It appeared after a reboot? I've not seen it. I've rebooted multiple times. I reboot after every full charge cycle. Moto is starting to scare me. Anyone else have this?
Edit: its in the system app folder but I have no way to launch it. Weird.
