I just switched from T-Mobile to AT&T and bought a Samsung Infuse.
It seems AT&T removed the option of non-market APK apps install even if T-Mobile still allow to install it.
Can anybody tell me how to install non-market APK apps into Samsung Infuse without rooting?
Settings > applications > check unknown sources
What apk is that for T-Mobile apk only, I want that T-Mobile app that you can call 5 number without spending your minutes, share it wahahaha. I know its not an app lol

the infuse is the first att branded phone that has the ability to sideload apps out of the box. you can install your apk no problem. you may need astro, to get to the apk or to enable browser downloading of it.

It's called "A-list" should be included in your plan. Depending on your plan

A-list is pointless now. My plan allows for unlimited mobile to any mobile on any network. So basically my plan minutes are only for landlines and of course they rollover.
But about T-Mobile, it would be nice to have a WIFI calling app on AT&T.

If you're looking for the stock MT4GS "groups" feature, I think it's going to be more difficult than just getting an .apk. Looking through the zip I see a DoubleshotAndroidZgroups, DoubleshotMessagesAppGroupsPlugin, and DoubleshotPeopleAppGroupsPlugin apks. If you want I can upload the DoubleshotAndroidGroups.apk but I can't tell you whether or not it will function as you would like it to...
I believe it's actually a new app from T-Mobile for only mytouch 4gs

I have a tethering app i sideloaded and have been using for a while nicely. Out of curiosity though i look again through the market to see what tethering apps are out and about. now EVERY one of them says not compatible with my "att" nexus s.
Does anyone know if they are TRULY not compatible or is it more a disclaimer they are putting on the app since att doesnt allow tethering?
I am on stock rooted 2.3.4
At&t got google to block tethering app for they're networks phones.side load

If your rooted, market enabler and spoof a provider that does allow tethering.
Remove sim and connect via wifi. Then it will show up in market

With the last 2 updates for the market, it doesn't seem to recognize that I arma T-Mobile customer. The T-Mobile recommend apps and free exclusive music on the new market are completely missing altogether. Is there a fix for this?
