Hello im having an issue with my Gtalk (google talk) after i installed ICS 4.0.3 when i go into my gtalk all i see is my freinds names listed but they are all greyed out as if i was offline and they were not online but i have verified that they are because when i go into my gmail im able to see them. has anyone had this issue? any info on how to get it fixed to show my freinds online?
Try flashing the newer gapps where the talk icon looks like this

Well it looks like you can still enter download mode. Have you tried to just flash the ICS leak again using odin?
Cant see it. Give more info on what happened

Hi I'm new, yes I did a search coulnd't figure this problem out in a few hours of googling and searching here.
I updated my Xoom tablet to 4.04 CM9 rom, and it doesn't have an market apps.
I went to to google play site in the browser and it has a record of everything I had installed on my old rom, I don't know what to do with that, I try to install the apps again anyways and they won't download.
Is there a way to wipe the cache of these previously installed apps?
And how do I go about getting a google play app on the tablet?
Thanks for your time, I am frustrated and stumped.
you need to install gapps (google apps),
http://goo.im/gapps/
choose the appropriate one for your rom

In fact this one was put together by Team Rogue (CM maintainers for the xoom) and designed for CM9 on the xoom,

Bah now I feel dumb.
Thank you, you magnificent saviour
it's cool man, we're all a noob at some point

This page has the Gapps link for its roms directly just in case someone else
comes across the same problem.
Cyanogen specifically

Tried both of those suggestions but eventually I just ended up wiping the ROM completely and reinstalling. Problem solved. Thanks for the help though.

Try flashing the components separately vs flash-all

Yes, don't use scripts because we can't really see what is going wrong and where.
Please use individual fastboot commands,
The file might be corrupted. I would ask to re download it.

Check the line above the error message, this will tell you what went wrong
---------- Post added at 08:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:16 AM ----------
Most likely it was the recent ota update that changed your bootloader, so some older roms aren't compatible with the new bootloader. You can either find a different rom for now or if you're handy with a text editor i think there's a way to edit the updater script
Any ideas on how to edit the updater script? I'm getting the same error tried reverting to an older bootloader but still no dice.
Thanks!
Even for me it's not working, need someone to help

Are you all on Multirom? Did you try primary and secondary rom?
Can you post the recovery log?
The line to remove into updater-script for the bootloader check is "assert(getprop("ro.bootloader") == "HHZ12x"........."
