Hey Everyone, I've been a member here for a while. I am by no means a noob, but in all my time spent on XDA i have never came across anyone else having this issue. For some reason, whenever I try to look at a post, the attached images no longer show up as thumbnails, but links. And even worse, when i click on them it redirects me to the vBulletin message requesting for me to login even though i already am logged in, and when i comply, and login again, it just redirects me back to the login screen. I've also tried it on multiple browsers and computers, with no luck, so this has to be an XDA issue. If anyone can offer any help I'd be most appreciative. Thanks.

I'm posting this here because the LauncherPro forum is dead.
So I'm wondering, is LauncherPro Dead? The developer discontinued it? Can anybody give me some insight to why things are the way they are.
I'm new to the whole launcher scene, so I dont know the developer, i dont know the history of the site. At the moment im a customer whos paid, and got nothing but a failure of a site.
I bought pro few days ago, Direct Debit no eCheck nonsense, so payment is instant, (i buy a bunch of stuff direct debit and all come back instant). I received the unlock code email but the code didnt work, figured they'd be a delay.
Tried later, still not working...
Tried going to main website (launcherpro.com) and I get an error.
Access to the web page was denied.
HTTP Error 403 (Forbidden): The server refused to fulfill the request.

So anyway figured they were having issues. Come back days later, Key still not working. Websites still not working, I had to proxy through just to post. Assuming outside US connections are being rejected for specific location requests.
I go to the request page, put in my email and get the lovely:
Sorry, we couldn't find that email address in the database. Please make sure you entered it correctly and try again.

How is this even flipping possible lol I get an email saying thank you! Here is your paypal email, here is your code, then later its like "oh no idk who you are!".
Email Fede, no reply, emailed again, replied saying go to the support forum. I would if I could flipping access it. So proxied through to support forum, posted a message, get an email confirming post: "Your support ticket ID is xxxx....", I click the link and hilariously get:
Error:
Ticket not found! Please make sure you have entered the correct tracking ID!

Why is the launcherpro system so messed up? Should I consider this a dead project and move on, loyalty is out the window.
I post here because this site is lively and hopefully I might get some clue as to what is going on, the launcher pro forums are like a wasteland.
What the hell you talking about man? check again works fine it maybe in your end.
No issues here accessing the site. I'm outwith the US.
If you can't access his site, how do you expect the code to be accepted? It contacts the server, so something is wrong between you and his server. But his box is fine and online.
Resolved The problem lied with DNS usage on ISP's in my area (Talktalk, Sky) which were not refreshing the new site but loading the old server, which was causing me to come up with the above post as the old server has not been used for 2 weeks, but is still accessible and not yet redirected. (Which it should be to prevent these sorts of issues) After changing to Google DNS I was able to get onto the site without the need of proxies.
I'd be happy for this thread to be locked.
Using the HTC email app, no links are ever parsed. They just appear as standard, un-clickable text. I even tried forward/replying messages to see if they would appear as links there but they don't.
Does anyone else have this issue and/or a suggested fix? Thanks!
Are you debloated on AT&T? It seems we need HTCLinkifyDispatcher, which is removed as bloat

I am not, though I would love to be! (I am reticent to root my device, however.) I am running Apex, however, and perhaps this is related to the issue?
Thanks for the reply. Any further thoughts would be very much appreciated.
Well, apparently, I am not the only one experiencing this. Had not yet found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639865
Does anyone have any idea why links would not be recognized as such?
i was having problems until i changed the maximum receive settings to max, and things started working much better. HTML emails that did not open correctly began opening and prompting for image downloads as expected.

Thanks! I tried the "max" setting and this didn't resolve the issue.
However, our problems are different as HTML email display has never been a problem (and I am always prompted to download images)--my issue is that links do not parse in plain-text emails.
links in email are not hyperlinked
I am having the same problem. Hyperlinked words (seem) to be clickable and work fine. However, some emails I get where the address is typed out like the following (for example):
h t t p s://w w w. dropbox.c0m/el/?r=/link/65.Zf7E33Qbpe...
They look like regular text and are not highlighted, much less clickable.
Other times, I get emails with only the following in the body of the email:
"Please view the HTML of this email to see the message".
I'm going nuts because there is no HTML or anything to click on, let alone any kind of message. I've checked settings and nothing there is absolutely nothing to clue me into what might be wrong or how the situation can be resolved.
Can anyone please help me with a problem to use this forum?
Normally, my member ID is 5806611. Apparently I can't access it anymore, the way I used to.
When I try to reply or access my "settings", I get this (screenshot):
http://prntscr.com/6whc6q
Regarding that info/post:
1) As far as I know, I have 60+ posts.
2) I have no idea why I should be restricted in using the site.
3) " the administrator may have disabled your account": If this happened, is there any reason for that, or can it be corrected?
The only thing that possibly went wrong, in the last few days, was problems with my password, so I had to reset that password a few times, since I had a lot of problems to log in. Problems started when I linked my Google+-account to my armadiljo-account.
So: what can I do to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Jo
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I can view your member ID and it looks like your user name is armadilijo. Have you tried signing on with that name? I'll ask a moderator to take a look and see if there are any other issues.
Thank you, and you're right. That's me (armadiljo is the correct spelling, but that's not the issue )
I can log in with the name and my password, I can browse topics, but I can't reply. Not on my pc (win 8.1 + chrome), not on my iPad (latest iOS + safari).

The Registration process on Needrom.com is not working for me (No password sent to me to get into the site, which also stops you contacting them to let them know of your problem!), anyone else finding that?
Thanks

How do you expect anyone here to do anything about it. XDA is not and does not associate with needrom, it is not even allowed to post links here from needrom. That's something you'll have to take up with them. Try using a different PC or device to register there then contact them about the issue.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE
To help others, if they pick up this thread, I have found that if you register on needrom using Microsoft Edge, whilst it appears to complete, you do not get the email enabling your account. If you use another browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox etc) it works fine.
I cannot explain why.

I would be careful. That site is not trusted and has been known to include malware in the roms they post.
Hi, I used to be able to capture (Screen Shot) a page I was on, and it also grabbed the Web Site address I got it from and attached it into a Text or Forum Post I would be posting or using. I didn't download any particular app to do this, it was something that was Stock. I can't seem to find this feature anymore for some reason. This feature might not be suitable to most, but for me, at certain times, it was very beneficial. Does anyone know of the setting or app that did this?
I was not rooted when I did this, nor am I now.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ for AT&T
EDIT: I searched for days for my answer, only After I posted this post, I was able to find my answer. It's the Android Operating System Screenshot tool But for anyone else that wants this feature, you need to open up Google Search & go to your Google Settings, Then go to General, then down to Edit & Share Screenshots.
