Hi!
I damaged my Omina 7 sim card reader trying to remove a sim card that works as some kind of adpater from SIM to MicroSim.
I found the speaker & sim card module here: http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-Omnia-7-i8700-SIM-Card-Tray-Loud-Speaker-p/smsng6093780.htm
Until now, this was the only place I found this part.

Hi
I have recently bought a SIM Card Reader which does not Recognise my HTC HD7 Windows 7 SIM, but does work fine with other SIMs I have. Now I have never used a card reader before so may well be doing something wrong. Two things that make me wander if the reader is faulty or I am not using the correct software is that; it was a very cheap reader; and the sims that were read appeared to have very little data on them - possibly because the contacts were saved to the phone not sim?
In any case, it would not read my sim for the HTC at all.
Does anyone know if this is normal for a windows 7 sim or do I need a different / replacement reader?
thanks

SIM cards are of a standardized format and are not different in different devices. Otherwise that defeats the purpose of being able to easily swap SIM cards between devices.
Either the SIM card is damaged or the reader may be faulty, or other unknown issues.
its normal that you cant read your wp7 phone sim card, since your phone locked it with some undocumented functions and encrypted it with a password aswell. the only way to make your sim card readable right now is to find someone with a nokia phone, format your sim card on that phone ( since those seem to be the only ones that are able to read the sim card ) and then it should be readable by your reader.

I think you're confusing SIM card with the micro SD card. Completely different.

i am not able to activate it. it stuck on the main screen that showing tablet is not provisioned please insert valid sim card
i've cut a normal sim card (old M32) which was always working into a micro sim unsing the template floating around the internet.
inserted to the phone, it detects the carrier but it just cant register to the network. emergency calls only.
anyone know whats wrong? or just that these old sim cards are not compatible on phones that takes micro sim?
i've attached a screenshot, cut vs original micro sim.
micro sim
just get a original micro sim, that one that you cut will not work, the cut was not perfect, you have to be super cautious to use that device you use to cut it
Try and unlock your phone
Use this app link.......http://www.unlockroot.com/....
This app will not only unlock your phone but will also

Please, I need help.
I just bought a Galaxy Tab 7.7 used, and i tested when I went purchase with another boy, and everything was ok, SIM Card normal functioning.
Once I got home, the SIM card does not work anymore, it does not recognize the SIM card and recognizes no other.
Has no 3G network anymore.
Please, is there anything I can do?
ROM Stock 4.0.4
Check there is no obstruction in the SIM card slot and clean.
If you haven't done anything to the device, I'd return it if possible. The seller should be reasonable about it.
