[Q] How to reset to original? - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

Just for understanding, how do I reset my GalFit to factory?
Does it have flash counter?
What about original recoverymode?
What about root?
Thank you in advance.

Just flash a firmware for your region using odin and you should be back to scratch.
It would take care of everything even the recovery

No.. reset won't downgrade your phone... you have to flash your phone with Odin using stock froyo firmware which contains 4 files namely, PDA, BOOT, MODEM(PHONE) and CSC.
Sent from Galaxy mini running CM10(Android 4.1.2 (Jellybean)).

degrading is dangerous but you must flash the firmware which contains bootloader (I think it's called arm11boot)

Yup the tutorial I gave was for that only... but you need to find the appropriate firmware for it.the one which contains four files.

WHY IN THE HELL DID U DO THAT!!!!
stay away from things thats not meant for your phone..!!
your phone is not an unlocked one so its bound by the terms and conditions of the network operator!!!
now what u can do is try to root your phone somehow.. flash another rom..
else u and wait for update from ur cellular provider and update again..!!
GOOD DAY
See if you can boot into recovery and then install stock rom.
Thank you for the info. So far I have not been able to get it to boot into recovery. If you have any other suggestions they would b much appreciated. Thank you again

Bricked P-6200 Advice Please

The worst has happened and it's all my fault
Having not used my Galaxy Tab for some weeks (I've been using my SGS III) I updated to the latest Brazillian ICS firmware and for a stupid reason did a factory rest which has resulted in me bricking my Tab.
I am now getting a boot loop on the screen that states it's a Galaxy Tab Plus, I can get into download mode but not recovery.
Having read a number of posts of similar problems, have tried flashing a .pit file and firmware but still no joy. It seems that it may have to be a trip to the Samsung Service Centre. Thankfully in download mode it is still showing a stock firmware with a zero counter.
Would be interested for any experiences on people who have had to return it to a service centre and whether I may get any potential problems as it was bought off ebay around 6 months ago and is the P-6200L model.
Any help is appreciated :good:
I'm not sure about this but u may try to flash cm10.. firstly download pit file and Odin then u flash the pit file.. also download cwm and cm10 then flash cm using cwm.. then wait for the device to reboot.. it works for me.. ^_^

I had the same thing yesterday.... If I look at the article there is a link there to an article and if you read that I see the advise to flash the original firmware through Odin maybe you can give that a try? I haven't had the change yet... but will try this afternoon... If that doesn't work I will also try aorth's post and if that fails I going back to the service center....

Have tried flashing a variety of different firmwares for my P6200 even the .pit files but still no luck.
Have spoken to a pleasant customer services gentleman who's arranged for me to return it and have it repaired under warranty.
Must make mental note to self NOT to do a factory reset via the default recovery option ever again

Dude I had the same Problem. Flashed I've again with odyn and wiped everything 4-5times
I've given up... device will be sent back to service desk today for repair. Hopefully under waranty as I didn't root yet nor flashed a custom rom... I did, however, install CWM 6.0.0.8, but I guess that is not an issue (can anybody confirm?)

Back to Stock

Hi there, need a little help.
A friend of mine brought a 9003 from France. I've updated firmware XXLE4 and Cf-Root and installed RemICS 1.6.
He can't get network Signal, from French operator. I need to solve this, can anyone get me a solution ?
Another question, for warranty purpose, which is the best way to return phone to Stock ? Which Firmware ?
Thank you in advance.
@ warranty ... You can flash the stock firmware for your region and dont flash cf-root .. you can have your warranty back.
@ remics issue .. post in it's thread to get responses from people using it.

[Q] No SIM or wifi after factory reset

Hi,
Yesterday, I had an update from 4.1.1. to 4.1.2. I'm running the stock rom. After I ran in the update, I re-rooted using CF-Auto Root.
Today, I thought I'd do a factory reset. Now, my phone won't detect any SIM card (I've tried 2) and although it seems to detect my wifi, it won't connect.
I had the phone on airplane mode when I selected the factory reset, but I wouldn't have thought that would matter.
Interestingly, I can now select airplane mode to turn on, but it then ghosts out and I can't turn it off.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Please help!
I'm inclined to think this is a software problem as both sim and wifi worked perfectly before the factory reset.
I've tried registering with SamMobile to download the stock rom, but their registration page seems to be wonky. It complains I haven't completed the anti-spam task, but this area of the form is just blank.
yep.. thats a loophole in google... try doing it again... this time with cwm.. if that doesnt work.. u have to get the stock rom via odin

I've tried a few more resets with airplane mode on and off and nothings worked.

I just flashed the exact modem I had before, and my baseband, imei etc. are all coming up unknown.
When I enter *#1234#, my cp number is also unknown.
Do roms also include modems? I was once told they didn't. Sorry, I've never flashed anything before besides when I was getting root access

One further question, then I'll go hunting ....
I have the GT-N7105T. I know the T variant has different radios. Some people say you can use N7105 roms and some people say no.
Can I safely use an N7105 rom on my N7105T? The phone is pretty useless at the moment but I'd rather not brick it.
Thanks

There's your problem!
The difference between the regular Galaxy model and the T variant is the modem. Telstra 'tweak' it on a hardware level for their NextG network and it means that the performance of the modem is affected to varying degrees (severe in your case) if you use a non 'T' modem.
There should be a modems thread, there should be a N7105T modem. I'll have a look and post back if I find one.
---------- Post added at 09:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:27 PM ----------
BOOM!
TDVDMB1 (Australia / Telstra) N7105TDVDMB2
TDVALK4 (Australia / Telstra) N7105TDVALK3
Either of these should work, keep them to flash after you reflash a rom onto your phone
good for u.. u got an australian to help u out..

I've tried flashing the modem but unfortunately it had no effect.
I don't have the phone on me so I can't confirm this, but I'm starting to have scary thoughts about the efs. Unfortunately the only changes I've ever made to my Androids was just to root, and I didn't even know what the efs was.
Thing is, after my update my phone worked fine for over 24 hours before I reset it. Does this sound like the efs? How can I tell if that's the problem?
I guess I had to learn somehow, and I've definitely learnt ...
Would it be possible for me to get a copy of an efs folder from another Note 2 and adapt it to mine?
For anyone else who may come across this, I solved the problem by downloading the stock ROM from sammobile and flashing that.
I have also now flashed TWRP and have taken a nandroid including the EFS.
We all have to start somewhere, but hopefully my bad experience will prevent someone else's.

I see. Still, I heard there are problems concerning the new FW about the tablet being unrooted if you flash KK on it and the samsung logo not appearing in the booting screen. Is there any way for the root to stay? I already know that there are a few bug issues in the software like the fast battery drain and I can handle that but the root though...I don't really want my device being bricked or whatever. I'm still a newbie about this so I wanted to find more information if possible before doing anything first.

I know it's official and everthing but that's not what I'm worried about. My tablet's already rooted with a custom rom and a blackhawk kernel in it. I read from the other posts that you'd be stuck in the booting screen if you flash the KK due to the logo missing and that you'll lose the root and will never be rooted again due to KK leaving a signature on the build or something. I'm not exactly sure what steps to take to prevent it though and I wanted to flash KK so bad. I just want to know if anyone knows how to flash KK in my already rooted tablet without encountering those two issues I just stated above.
Anyone?

You can always get root access again either by pre-rooting the firmware or by a custom recovery image in several different ways.

I don't think I can do the pre-rooting one. My computer doesn't run in Linux and I'm currently out of the country (and probably will be for months) to do anything about it.
Can you please tell me how to do it using custom recovery? You mentioned that there are different ways to do it?
