Have you ever been annoyed with extra options in a QR code reader when you just want it to scan QR and show the result? This was the reason why I started to develop my own light and clear QR reader - Obsqr.
Obsqr features in a nutshell:
can scan QR codes of the following types: URL, e-mail, geolocation, Android Market link, phone number, sms, contact information and plain text.

Why it stretch the camera?

Thanks for information!
On my device it's hard to notice. Suppose, a camera and screen ratio are very different on your device.
I think I should crop the photo image to fit a screen ratio in the future versions.

I've fixed ratio problem. Now it doesn't stretch camera preview (since release version 2.3).

for me apps like QRDroid where bound to my search Button on my phone..
But your app does not show up on that App list wenn i hold the Search Button, could you add that feature
Nethertheless this is by far the best QR Code scanner i've been using I hate how all the others are bloated with features no one wants

It is a pleasant surprise to have an app that doesn't require a shopping list of permissions to perform a simple task.
I am a fan before I even finished the install.

Fantastic work, my friend! I get all happy inside when I come across simple minimalistic apps that can do what they're intended to do AND do it better than other bloated ones.
There has to be a way to implement this into the main main AOSP camera app. IMO functionality like that has been missing for quite some time. Maybe you can contact and work with whoever develops camera mods for the Cyanogen team? I dunno...

Hey, I've a phone with qHD screen and version 2.3 doesn't work for me.

In addition, I bound launching Obsqr to Search button.
Fix:
- autofocus issue

Hey now it works on my phone with qHD screen. One trivial bug though, when i click to open the link, i get haven't set a default browser, so i get complete action using dialog, if go back from here, i get blank screen.

Any plans to add WiFi key QR code support? Like Barcode scaner has, thats the only thing missing from the app & thats all thats keeping Barcode scanner installed on my phone. If you added this i don't think i would need any other barcode/QR scanner. So far the app is grate nice & fast clean & simple its just what i was looking for.

I could also translate into german and test it on Nexus S (4.0.4)

Keyboard in android is an essential tool but isn't it annoying that every android keyboard pops up moving the entire screen and covering more than half of the screen? NOT efficient!

CHANGED: 1st long tap on 'Delete' key erases the last letter; 2nd long tap erases last word; 3rd long tap clears whole text.
ADDED: if bottom right hotspot disappears turn the screen off then on to have it reappear.
FIXED: button keys sometimes not showing up when showing keyboard.

I have been using this for the past 2 days and i really like this.
It feels like a pc where you know the keyboard is always there. Swipe from anywhere and i take a note, save a number or type something real quick.
The typing is VERY intuitive, i literarily do not make mistakes on this keyboard.
This keyboard is really useful in web form.

Yes in the next version it will save what you write into a text file and also have a menu the will show the typing log.

Ever wanted Motorola's Touchless Control on your device, but couldn't have it because you didn't own a Moto X? Vestige has been in development for a little over a year and aims to solve that problem. Oh, and it also uses gesture recognition as well. No root required!
App Description
Vestige is a new way of handling tasks in Android. While not a launcher replacement app, it can be used to launch any application and perform a variety of actions on your device. You can quickly perform any action by drawing a user-assigned gesture on the trace pad or by speaking a single word or phrase. Originally the app was designed to be a voice command only app, but we realized that many people generally do not talk to their phone. To solve this, Vestige evolved to include personalized gesture mapping giving you the ability to perform tasks you would normally do with your voice with just a flick of your finger.

Ways to multitask
Tracer - This is a floating button resembling Facebook's Chatheads and Paranoid Android's HALO))) which will expand to allow you to perform any gesture from anywhere on your device at all times while the screen is turned on.

What is NiceLock?​
This app is only an alternative to main Good Lock app for the regions that it is officially unavailable.
This app only acts as a launcher for modules. Goodlock modules has to be installed separately. You can check apkmirror or sammobile for module downloads.
As badlock app missing some modules, I decided to create this project as a quick alternative.
This app will be updated as Samsung adds new modules.

Thanks for the thread and the apps tho! It's one of my fav things when it comes to Samsung phones.

Today Samsung released a new app which also is part of the Good Lock family. The app is called Theme Park and can help you to make your own themes. The interface seems very nice and simple. I tested it on my S9+ and at the end where I save the theme seems to crash. Probably because on apkrmirror the targeted says android 9 and I'm with android 10?
If someone has time and it's with android 9, can test it and report back.

I love Good Lock as the Routines app allows me to switch on Airplane mode without the need to root
