[Q] Asus G73 laptop Wireless problem? - General Questions and Answers

I know this is mainly an android website but my brother referred me here because you all also know a lot about computers. The laptop I have is a:
Asus G73
Windows 7 64bit
Internet runs through a NETgear Router
Well my laptop connects just fine when there is no Password/Encryption but as soon as we set a WPA2 Encryption the laptop "Connects" but will not work at all.
I go to CMD and type ipconfig and it says all of this:

Trying to talk to new ( cheap ) toy. Fire HD 8 2016 - updated to 5.3.2.0 (Alexis)

I am running win 10 ( the 64 bit one because it was required to run Fallout 4 )
*** Could not get the adb ( in this thread ) to load - complained right away about the install - msg: "you have to run the 64-bit version of dpinst.exe" . . .
.
So I went to the happy adb for my phone...

Seems to be okay with the Fire tablet. May I ask that someone else try it and verify it is okay too, please.
.
Then also I looked into the tablet's soc/cpu make/model. Amazon does not say it specifically anywhere. It is a "MediaTek MT8163 V/B 1.3 GHz" and these other tablets that use the same thing . . .

firmware update MStd2

Hi , in our Beetle 2016 there is a Composition Media EU navigation unit H05 with 5C0035680 ..the instructing manual from VW says it is from end of 2014 .
The firmware is EU PQ0136T . I have tried to update to 01XXX version PQ0138T via SD card slot ( the unit has got 2 slots on the surface) but an error message " version conflict ...medium : device doesn't support this (MainUnit : variant) appears . So I tried several 02xxx , 03xxx , 04xxx versions to no avail . Always the same Messages : Can't read file Meta Info and further below Can't use Update Container . The current Software Download application is too old .
I have read that on this unit not even the voice control can be activated . Any clues ? Thanks for any comments .
