Hi i bought this HTC EVO Shift 4G from eBay.in for reliance cdma Delhi circle (India)
it is working fine with voice calls, but data services is not at all working, reliance webworld people don't know how to configure this, seller on eBay is not responding, it is showing ''Error Code 67. Registration Failure. Your PCS Vision username and/or password may be incorrect.'' Please help me if anybody can.. Thanks
That just means you're not connecting to sprint's data network. I believe you'd need to change the prl from sprint to reliance, and probably some other things too. See the process for flashing this phone to cricket, it's probably fairly similar...

That is correct it is the phone trying to connect to the Sprint Network. Yes in order for it to stop you'd either need to flash it to a different carrier, and change the PRL. Another option is to check if Sprint is in India. THIS article might interest you. Also this information HERE.

Ok your going to want to check out THIS thread. HERE is also a good thread, with an explanation of how to change your PRL. Aslo what it is, and does. But all that being said I do not know what PRL you would need for that particular carrier.
EDIT: There is also a link on that last link for a lot of other PRL's for many carriers.

Hi guys. Sorry if this is a dumb question but is it possible to flash the Shield tab so it works on Verizon's band instead of AT&T/T-Mobile?
Many folks have asked this, but no one is game to try it out. Being in Australia, I'd really like to attempt the WW version flash and see if I could use my Virgin Mobile Australia SIM to connect to 4G.
It seems theoretically possible, and I guess the only thing that would happen would be that you would get a non-booting device and would need to flash the original OS back onto the tablet through ADB.

I'm going to create a new forum post requesting an update on Android 5.0 Factory Images, then I'll take the plunge I reckon!
The other thing you could do would be to Download the last known full recovery image then let the OTA process upgrade the OS to Android 5 (now that all the OTAs for LTE are officially out).
After such a huge change in OS, I'm inclined to reinstall the OS from scratch anyhow. I know folks may scoff at me for doing this, but I did it on my Nexus 5 and the device is running so much better now.

That's very sad. My new Airtel 4g Hotspot is bricked now, stuck at Diagnostic 3G UI. Is there anyway to find a usbloader or how are these things made or where do people get these from?

Since MotoJunkie01 is no longer a member of this community for reasons unknown to me, i have not been able to find a single copy of the stock firmware that wasn't posted by him.
If anyone has a copy of this please post me a link.
I have reached out to MotoJunkie01 on androidcentral and requested this firmware from him but hes super busy man and im not going to depend on his response.
Someone must have gotten this from him at some point and still have a copy im hoping.
If he ever gets back to me and he gives me permission i will certainly post it here but until then im hoping someone in this community has what i need.

Currently, i am downloading the metropcs variant of the moto e5 play rom but i hope it helps someone out. I had to change the link so I dont have to log in.
So i don't know why this phone is so unpopular but I'm really interested in buying one over the Mi 9. I talked to the german customer service hotline and they told me that the bootloader is unlockable. They did not want to tell me how to do it. So here's my question, what is ZTE's history with allowing us to unlock bootloaders on their phones? How long do we expect it will take before that happens? Because whether or not I buy this phone depends on rootability.

I imported the phone, as it's not available here in the US. It's great little phone, but it does have it's drawbacks and one of those is rootability. ZTE has a history of locking bootloaders by eliminating the fastboot option.

So I've successfully unlocked the bootloader of my T-Mobile OnePlus 8, and I was wondering if there was any way to convert it to the Global OxygenOS firmware? And if something goes wrong, is there any way to flash back to the T-Mobile firmware? I haven't been able to find any threads relating to this subject.

Well you can always use MSM tool to go back to stock, and as far as converting, you'll find out soon ??

You've most likely been scammed. There is a thread over in the Guides section on how to convert the T-Mobile OP8 to the global firmware but it's still a work in progress. Right now it requires the bootloader to be unlocked and the use of the MSM tool to downgrade the stock firmware first. I don't believe there's a way to do that remotely just from the IMEI.
Please be careful sharing information about your device online, and check your sources ?

Uh oh. I hope that your IMEI number hasn't been compromised. IMEI numbers are in demand for blacklisted phones. how did you pay? Paypal?

Better exchange your phone now cause I wouldn't even touch that thing after that.
Call TMobile and make up a story about it not turning on or something. Or kill it via root and say it won't boot up

I agree. You should send the phone back to tmo and request a new one. That way you don't have to worry about anything. That would be the best way and don't let anyone get that personal info from you again. I just rooted last week and coverted to global firmware this weekend. I've had the phone since may 2020. I read these threads over and over each day and didn't make a move until I was sure I had things down. Take your time and read, read, read. Happy modding!

Nobody is going to spoon feed you like that. Just go to the official thread and do it yourself. It's not that hard, but backup persist.img before you so anything

Where did you get your info to install the international stock? I've been all over xda and all they have on here is just installing the oxygen OS on the 7t and below.. Is the process the same? Can I use the drivers and msm tool for the OnePlus 7?

Got a replacement on the way BUT it'll be locked, I'm still trying to install the international oxygen OS on it..

Look for the ROM for fastboot install in questions and answers. You have to read a few different threads to make sure you use the right thing. Once you use the MSM took it gives you more confidence since you can just revert back to 10.5.7 TMO anytime your want. Happy modding!

MSM Tool if awesome and gets you back to 10.5.7.IN55CB stock everything.
I had no problems updating international 10.5.10 to 10.5.11. I'm TMO rooted running international version. Happy modding!
