Hello guys, as the question say... Do you think Google should integrate Google talk with google+.?
Why?
I think it would because it would make thinks better and I think Google would win more users and it will help us to have Things more organized
Post your opinion..!

I think it would be pointless. No one really use "Google Talk" which people often mix up with "Google Voice".
I love Gmail but never once used the Google talk messenger that's embedded in to it. I just don't see how that would help boost Google+ numbers.
Random side note: I love Google+ find the mobile app and "Huddle" (Yes I still call it that because it's COOL) to be world better then Facebook crap. But what really screwed Google + was when they open up for beta and took two months to open it to everyone. They lost all the Google+ hype.
Just wanted to trow that in there.

Well maybe you say that because you don't use it. But many many people use it because is cleaner and easier than other messengers, so I don't see why have huddle and google talk when you could integrate Google talk and all of his users with google + and expand it and make things more organized

It's just my opinion I don't think Google Talk popular enough at all. I never hear about Google Talk unless they meant to say Google Voice XD
I think it wouldn't help Google+ number right now.
Now if Chrome OS where to come out with an install for PC's on a massive scale THEN I can see this integrate being worth wild.
That's just how I see it~
Sorry you feel gtalk aint popular but your horribly wrong

Well actually google talk is one of the most used messengers, maybe you and your friend don't use it, but there are millions of active people using it, I don't even use it nor my friends but that's why I'm asking because I think Google talk is great and easy to use, and hell is built in every android phone, just as bbm is in the blackberry, but some people don't see it like that

Dead wrong. Tons of people use gtalk. also, you can already use gtalk from your google+ page so I'm not sure what this thread is getting at?

Yo can with the page but not with the phone, with the phone you get another messenger when you download the google + app, and I don't see the reason of that o. O when they have a good messenger already...

I really hope that the integration won't happen. I love GTalk - it's simple and uncluttered. Integrating it into G+ would make it just another social page messenger.
If all of Google's features can be integrated into one without pushing any of them in my face then I'm all for it. I'll just ignore them if I don't want to use them.

Get it while it's hot! Looks like they're finally stepping it up.
Edit: Also improved Facebook API so hopefully Facebook-integrated apps won't be so bad now!
so far it seems to be a good upgrade

if we actually use a sense rom this app is the most useless thing we can have on our phone if there is no chat feature on it... i mean really... even the iphone facebook app have chat... how lazy are they to not implement it to android... i dont get it.

How does having a Sense ROM make this useless? Other than contact integration and image uploading, what the hell does Facebook for HTC Sense do?
The notifications don't work for comments. That sucks. There is a app called f-plus that will give you notifications and Go Chat will take care of the fb chat.
I am sick of having 3 apps on my phone for the job that one app should be able to do.
On top of all that my post through the "official app" are not posting on the news feed. If anyone can chime in on that it would be very helpful.
still no chat and still can't poke! Among other things..The bottom line is If I have to open my browser to do anything then its a FAIL! Why have an app if I just need to open my browser at some point..
I just can't believe how they keep dropping the ball on this!
i can view comments from notification in the app so i am confused to as what is not working besides chat
Yes but it does not notify me on the notification bar if some one post on my wall

I tried downloading from the app store. It downloads completely and while installing it fails. It gives me an error saying it was unable to perform the install. I tried to uninstall the present version but the uninstall option is grayed out.
And also sometimes , the appstore takes a while to download. Sometimes I have to restart my fone in order for the phone to start downloading the apps.
Any help is appreciated.
I get notifications on cm6.

Hmmm I don't like the single-sign-on feature because now all apps will have access to my account by just using FB API? not so good...

It will be listed in the app's permissions. Don't go downloading apps that you don't want to access your Facebook account.

If you're rooted, use Titanium Backup to uninstall the system copy of Facebook, reboot, then download the Market version.
What do you think of Google Play's App history? There's no way of removing your app history, it logs every app you have ever installed.
At the moment, there are two tabs in the "My Apps" menu. One is "Installed" and the other one is "All". It seems like finding the apps you have previously bought (but not installed yet) isn't that easy anymore, either you use search or try to find them in the huge "All" list.
Just stupid.
Do I have to create another Google Account or what? Why can't Google allow us to remove our app history?
edit: Report the issue here to get Google's attention: http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=known_issues.cs&ki_topic=1319135
I agree. That sucks about the new Play Store. I was happy with the way it was before showing only installed and purchased apps. Most apps I've uninstalled because I didn't need them or they didn't work well, so why would I care about still having them in my apps list? Pretty ridiculous. I found it to be pointless in the Web Store itself, but now it's just a pain scrolling through that list of unnecessary apps on my phone trying to find one I actually need. Not to mention everytime you tap on an app and go back to the list, it jumps to the top and I have to scroll all the way again. There should be an option to purge/remove apps that you don't want in the history list.

Maybe if enough of us complain, they'll change it
Watching this app history on my google play account on the pc I was wondering why there are apps listed I used a very long time before.
Well, google needs the history for stats but why saving it for so long?
I am strained when the first apps will remove from the history.
Gesendet von meinem GT-I9001
I find this very annoying as well.
There is no need to keep a list of our previously installed apps.
Some apps i just install just to see what it is and have no interest in it after a while.
If this continues then i will probably have the a whole list of apps in the google play store in my history.
yes it's really boring, i just changed my cellphone and i have all all all the history from 2y of download it's hard to filter the one that i wanna keep and the others...
Anoying you cant choose to remove apps
I complained to Google about this the day 3.5.15 was released. I also started a Google code entry on this just now. Would be great if all that are concerned would head over there and star it!

Good idea!! I really hate this "memory".
I agree, I have starred and commented the google code page.
I remember reading somewhere that this app history might affect play store download counts and that's why Google haven't changed it. I sure hope the do something about it though!
I was searching for a way to "fix" or filter my ALL list and see that im not alone, uber retarded "feature".
/sigh
oh well i starred & commented on the issue, thanks.

We can "Report this" on Deleting apps from My Apps/My Orders in Know issues
The more people who do, most will be taken into account
The more we push, the more they'll hear
Took a while for them to allow you to delete credit cards from your account, but maybe they'll get around to fixing this eventually.

The very new Google Play is a joke by its name. It's not you using Google to play, but Google plays with us. Starting with restricted countries to use its services and its "we-add-search-use-it-and-be-thankful" search and ending with such in-account irritating stuffs like the above mentioned.
So: Play with Google but remember it's Google who plays with you.
I don't think all your reports are able to change anything. They need it for some purposes, I don't think it's just their mistake or lack of foresight.
I wish there was some way to filter through it, or make groupings of applications.
Do you want to share your apps socially and talk with people about apps you love? You should check out Nappstr.
Nappstr gets its name from 『Napster』 and 『apps』, since we posted its apk here last week. There are already some people have their hands on it and they seemed pretty much enjoying it.
It is also a good idea for devs to post your apps and games there so you can share it easily with friends and followers on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.
You actually talk with your users in a Twitter style, synced to your chosen network at option. I can not post link here but you can try nappstrdotcom. It is not in Google Play yet. I hope you enjoy it.

scenario:
I wanna swap phones with my wife. BUT still share the apps that I bought under my gmail account.
on iOS, I can still share apps I bought but keep my contacts/iMessage separate as iCloud and appstore login are different parts of the OS.
Seems in Google ecosystem, it's either I share both my account and the apps I paid for? I know I can unticked "sync contacts" in the Google account setting on the phone. But it's easy to tick it again. I just want to install the apps and then have it updated automatically.
Thanks
ps. did search the net but nothing came up
You have to link the account you bought the apps on to the device. Its the only way to do this. If you untick the other sync options then contacts etc don't get synced. Thats the best you can do

Why? If you pay for an app on your device, why should you have the right to stick it on someone else's device just because you feel like it?
What they need to make easier is the ability to migrate your entire user account to a new one and keep all your settings, purchased apps etc as that is, currently, not possible.

I'm not talking about just anyone though. I can install apps I paid for on my son's and wife's ipad. He likes this music app I have on the ipad/4s. I bought a $200 app for my son 2 weeks ago. I would be VERY VERY annoyed if I need to buy it again just because I need to install it on the wife's ipad.
BUT I guess Apple allows a person to install an app on multiple devices that I manage (we got various iOS devices in the house and 1 HTC One X acquired last week just because I wanna try something different).
Seems google does not. Well google does too except privacy concerns can/might be a problem.
But I haven't bought much apps probably less $20 so buying them again is not a problem right now.

Two things I can see with this - and feel free to say if my understanding is wrong ... but firstly, $200 on an app? F**k me
1) You can install the Apple app on up to three devices - but they all have to be linked to your Apple ID? How is that any different from using the same base Google account linked into multiple devices?
2) I can install my purchased apps on my HTC Desire S and my Nexus 7 tablet - because I use the same Google account on them both. I also have my account linked to the Play Store on my Dad's LG Optimus 4X, so I can install my paid apps on there, but because I don't set it to sync anything else (as pointed out by Zac) he only gets access to my apps, not my contacts, emails etc.

because the contacts/calender/etc syncing (iCloud) and AppStore can be different Apple IDs. I could login on the AppStore as [email protected] and use [email protected] for iCloud/iMessage/Facetime. Even iMessage can use [email protected] if I choose to do so. maybe Facetime too (not really sure I haven't looked at the Facetime settings much but I'm sure about iMessage)

I did mention privacy concerns. It's easy enough for your dad to tick sync contacts on his device. Or maybe use some other Google services like Google+/etc. haven't really used those so I qualified my reply to maybe.

I fail to see the difference really. If you create a Google account specifically for purchasing the apps and don't use it for email or anything else then you can just use that on the other person's device - yes, they would be able to sync contacts (which don't exist) or send email (so what). If you are planning on sharing your apps with a person who you trust that little then you probably shouldn't be doing so in the first place.
it's not about trust but the flexibility in the OS. seems Google isn't as flexible as it seems. It's flexible in some areas (having other keyboards/themes/etc) but in this case, it seems it's not at least compared to what the other major competitor can do.
I plan to have another account I will be using to purchase apps. It was suggested in another forum.

Not trying to be picky, but that argument doesn't stand up. The way that the ability to share apps works has absolutely nothing to do with the OS. Google is NOT the OS - Android is. Android is massively more flexible than iOS is, but Google don't implement some things as well as they could - partly because they don't make as much money from the OS, partly because of the very nature of the open-source structure and partly because they don't go round suing the backside off everybody else on the planet.
When I said Google, I actually meant android. I just got my 1st Android device last week and my terms aren't as polished as yours.
and let's not bring the lawsuits into the topic. don't really care much for them and VERY much off-topic. I'll buy whatever suits my fancy and in this instance, the HTC One X won.

i use trillian, its a multiprotocol i.m client that supports AOL,Bonjour,Google talk (hangouts), ICQ,IRC,Jabber/XMPP,skype,VZ,windows live messenger, yahoo! messenger, and facebook.
If your looking for one that has all mobile messaging apps in one (such as whatsapp, kik, chaton, etc etc) im afraid your out of luck, as most of those apps dont have apis for third parties to work with.
But i still prefer good old fashion texting. Dont need 1000 different messaging apps, and everyone can do it
