No. You need a computer.

would it allow me to flash back to 2.3.3 if I did some sort of hard reset
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App

Nope.

damn! That's what my curiosity gets me. May have to borrow so.wines computer and download the sdk files

Too bad you weren't rooted because rom manager would have been the ticket
BEST DAMN PHONE BECAUSE WE HAVE THE BEST DAMN DEVELOPERS!

You may be able to actually. Brainmaster made a flashable cwm it doesn't work for me sadly. It may work for you though. Give it a shot
I'd post a link but I'm on tapatalk. Search the nexus development forum.

My market.....she is gone!

Hey all, I'm running 2.3.3 Cyanogen 7 mod and when I first installed the mod I had no market. So I re installed it and the market was in there, I have since followed one of the solutions on the samsung galaxy forum regarding different themed markets and how to set them up.
This may seem stupid however I was able to get it working previously before updating to 2.3.3, in short I tried to install zip from SD card and the market has dissapeared and no longer is installed, I tried to install it again and even downloaded the stock and tried to install it as a .apk but it just wont work. I don't want to re-install 2.3.3 if possible but can't see any other options?
I've tried searching for any other threads about this but couldn't find any which actually gave an answer, has anybody seen or had this issue before?

http://goo-inside.me/gapps/ if you can't find them, choose the CM7 version in the table at the top.
More specifically you should download this : http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip and install the zip file via cwm recovery

Hey guys, thanks for those speedy responses - this is why I love the XDA forum!!
Sadly installing the Google apps didn't work either, all looked to install but after clearing the cache and fixing permissions (just to be sure) there was no market installed when I rebooted
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Just after flashing the rom you must reboot and in your first reboot login with your Google account.

Ah so I do have to reflash the Tom, bummer - that's what I was hoping to not have to do :-(
If its gotta be done then its gotta be done I spose, cheers for all the help.

Cod ball, reflash your rom without wiping anything, after that flash gapps and reboot.

Clockwork won't stick, any ideas?

So I'm on 2.3.5 and I rooted using (one click root) method and everything is cool but I find myself having to flash clockwork every time via rom manager, is there any way to make it stick?

Delete/rename /etc/install-recovery.sh

What exactly were you trying to put on the phone? You don't need a cpu to flash a rom. Where you trying to flash CWM?
I flashed a rom but phone didn't boot up so I'm trying to unbrick my wife's phone now
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Found a couple solutions but they require windows XP the other solution needs the atx drivers that I can't install

I know that if I can flash cwm through the tool I will be ok but can't get my phone into sw mode or download I will try ur suggestions and get back to you thanks
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
It's power & vol down to get into CWM once you've flashed it. Follow the thread given by Waldano. This must be done before flashing any roms.
Is there a download mode for the g2x or is the volume buttons together the only way? Thanks for all the help guys I will post again a little later with a update

If you have already NVFlashed Clockwork Mod Recovery on the phone, you don't need a PC to flash again.
Download a good rom to a microSD card, throw it in the phone, use Clockwork to flash the zip from SD.
Or if you were smart, you would have performed a Nandroid Backup in Recovery before attempting to flash, in which you can just restore your backup and be back where you were at... which then you could download a different rom so the SD card USING the phone and attempt to reflash.
I messed up huge I flashed through rom manager that's why I can't get into cwm the phone wont do anything all it will do is go to the LG screen and the one with the little android Guy and a folder
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Man stop crying about ur cwm flashed through the rom manager and NVFLASH CWM!!!! Otherwise u wont be able to do anything

Clean up tools are not good. If you can't wipe system/data factory reset in cwm you don't need to be flashing roms.

Well I did because in the op for cleanup batch he was having the same problem so I tried it didnt work and I know how to flash and wipe through cwm. I work in a place that does not allow radios and I love to have music when I work and the only way I can do that is Bluetooth.

Sorry to hear that out does not solve the issue for you. The reference link in the op includes the method with gb 2.3.3 just flip the recovery in the folder so you have cwm as the reference will push stock.
BTW if you don't need mute with bluetooth you should switch to anything over 2.3.3 as for some reason the disconnect problem gets resolved that way... I couldn't as I must have mute over bluetooth
