No one here can answer that. If the ROMs are not to your liking go back to GB stock.
Where is my G Nexus?

dont take this the wrong way.
but you can expect it and read peoples and reporters saying this date and that date.
but odds are we wont know or see the ota untill google issues an official statment.
but everyone ive talked to and all the news ive read
theyve been rumoring end of DEC early JAN.

EDIT: And I know you're not the one that actually said he got the OTA notification. I'm still waiting for that pathological piece of work (or trolling Google employee) to reply.

Yeah but I try to keep my nexus current. I only have the iPhone as a a style symbol and not having a a bunch of settings and things to flash really keeps me saving a lot of time in the day.
But yes, my white iOS iPhone 4 is my daily driver

NS4G Official CM10
That's the most complete JB rom for the 4G currently. Everything works...GPS, MMS, 4G, 3G, Wifi, SMS.

Sad thing is if your like me im locked into my phone and i dont have money to make it rain in the sprint store for a new phone.
Most of our great GREAT Devs are moved on to better things then to help the poor old ns4g.
They all went to the Galaxy Nexus forums because they have the phone.
Until we get the official OtA from Sprint, Its going to be a little slow.

Should I give up my G2X for Lumia 710

I have a choice to switch to a Nokia Lumia 710 windows phone...should in do it????

Eh, I wouldn't do it. Especially since we're so close to getting fully working ICS ports. I'd do it for a Lumia 900 though.

Thx, yeah, i was about to get the HTC HD2...? But I think ill stick with the G2X, do you know what the ETA of the stable ICS is ?

I believe that when LG realeases source for ICS on O2x then we might have a possibility of good ICS Roms coming to our phones, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Stick to this one. G2X is still a dual core phone. As stated above we should get a lot of goodies in the next 1 to 2 months. New kernel for new possibility like actually having governors etcc..

I wouldn't hold my breath for it for the next several months. If there's some glaring issue with your G2x, I'd just keep it.

I would... I had one briefly but the damn speaker was messed up. If I could find one for a deal I would get rid of the g2x without a doubt. This phone has been nothing but problems since day 1.

Since this is a rather minor update, wont our CM X builds be updated pretty quickly?
As for the nexus thing, i do HOPE that Telus gets an unmodified nexus that wont be 2-3 versions behind like the Verizon Gnex.

I heard CyanogenMod has already merged the code for 4.1.2 so it should only be a day or so before we get the latest JB ROMs.

From what I understand 4.2 won't be released until Nexus 4 and 10 launch which is mid November. I could be wrong but that's what I gathered from all of the articles I've read about the Google announcements.

Really? I haven't seen news of a full leak on xda or any of the android sites in my Pulse feed other than the swype leak. If it has been leaked then hopefully we'll see some Roms soon. I have no doubt it's amazing.

As per the Play store, Nexus 4 is releasing on Nov 13th, 2012 (Canada). So the update should be rolling out within 1-2 days after the release.
