[Q] Samsung Omnia W or Nokia Lumia 800 - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
I am considering of buying either Omnia W or Lumia 800, please could someone advice me which one to buy, I would like to have full interop unlock, though secondary camera is of not much importance.
I followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351469 but has comparison for Radar and Omnia, please advice.
Thanks

the nokia lumia 800 has a better camera and much better design and build quality. I believe that an interop unlock was found on the lumia 800. So i highly recommend the lumia 800

Thanks lovenokia for your advice

if you want full unlocked device, get one of HTC WP7 models or Samsung Omnia7... also Lumia 710, 800 and 900 have possibility to use full unlocked ROM's but must have qualcomm bootloader
Android have many possibility because is open platform... WP is different but stable, fluid and safer...

Does unlocking reveal new system level options? I've never heard or seen such things.
No, but allows you to install WPDM etc to access phones files. Many different options once unlocked.

I never used WinPhone before so, Windows Phone users and Lumia 710 users please tell me good thing and bad things about WindowsPhone OS and Lumia 710 device. There any Android port project to Lumia 710?
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0...
android port not possible, but dont belive to people, Lumia is good if you know how to use it (people generic hate name Microsoft)... if you lucky and Lumia have unlocked bootloader, this is good thing and you can flash custom unlocked ROM

Comes from Windows Phones: What Android device should I consider?

Good day!
I have been a loyal Windows Mobile 6.5 -> Windows 10 Mobile user since HTC HD2. (HTC HD2, HTC TITAN, Nokia Lumia 620, Nokia Lumia 925, Nokia Lumia 520, Nokia Lumia 930, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL (again).)
I tried CM on the HTC HD2 ages ago, and wonder if i should get back on that Android horse.
This guy didn't receive any response from you guys: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/switch-windows-mobile-to-android-t3521660
But his questions are not like mine..
What phone should i buy?
My requirements are as follows:
1. Price tag - as this is my first Android device, I want to see if it's for me (Budget set for around £200)
2. Phone MUST run smooth.
3. Phone MUST be able to be rooted.
4. Extended battery life is always a plus.
5. Fingerprint reader would be nice
This list is prioritized.
I really would like your inputs in this matter.

Not 'yet' possible because Nokia Lumia 625 has a unlucky chipset, and a school of lazy developers.
Lumia 520,525,526,620 and 720 (shares a lucky chipset)has Android 7.1, and 625 does not. This is quite sad news.
Lumia 625 is the only lumia to have msm8930, so developers thought it is worthless to port Android to it. It will be inefficent because such hard working will only bring 1 phone to Android, and can not add support for other Lumia phones due to chipset problem. They do not want to repeat the hard work, for just one phone.
