[Q]where to post Gingerbread Port for Samsung Precedent

What is the Most Suitable Board to post the rom i created for the Samsung Galaxy Precedent its based off the Prevail EJ06 GingerBread ODIN and built from there to make the Precedent Have Gingerbread on it long before any OTA updates?

is there going to be a samsung precedent/prevail forum on XDA?

Hello guys i have a samsung galaxy s which currently running android 2.3.6. The baseban version is I9000XDJV1.The build number is GINGERBREAD.XWJW5.So can someone send me the link where i can find the right kernel for odin?!Or do you suggest doing it with some other way?!

I'd suggest the Galaxy S Forums. These are for a completely different phone as far as ROMs go.

Hello to you all. Just joined XDA and I was wondering: Could anyone post the official firmware for Samsung Galaxy Young S6310 (source code if possible), so I can make some builds for CyanogenMod10 or maybe even 11? I wanted to join the Official Development Thread, but I see there is a restriction for new users.

is anyone aware of cyanogenmod 10.1 for samsung galaxy ace duos?? there is a website called android nectar that said there is a cm10.1 for samsung galaxy ace duos (cant post the url because i hadn't reached the 10 post requirements:crying: just google it) so does anyone already install this to their device so i can confirm if this is true or not

Just googled for it --> I'm not able to find a valid CM10.1 or even a working Android 4.0+ for your device :/ Keep on searching. I'll post link if i find a working one.

Hi, I recently joined XDA to get information about how to install or modify custom roms.
I firstly tried to search before making this thread, but I couldn't get exact information that I wanted. (Or, my searching was crap..)
I'm very new to Android (was using iPhones), so I would be very appreciated if you can help starting from basic knowledge.

I saw Cyanogen, MIUI, OMNI, etc.
However, I couldn't select anything since I didn't know wheter they support my device or not.

Can you help me to find information about installing them? (from #1 question)

I saw that Note 2 can have Note 3 or 4 roms.
I want to know the difference between note 2 and note 4 roms. (like more stable, fast, compatible, etc)

I saw that my device could be locked by WIND.
How can I check if it's locked without getting new SIM card?
