This device can be extended to a maximum of 32 gb with sd card !! n NO it DOES NOT slow down your phone ......rather increase it as u can transfer more apps on the sd card !!

thanks mate...may i know how much external memory are you using???

For my device, I use a 16gb card: user available memory 13.83gb, and external storage (a2sd) 1gb

does it slow down your phone speed???

For best performance... use sd card class 10...
Most Bigger sd card u use.. please use high class too... sorry 4 my english

No, not at all!!!
And even if it does, I can barely notice it!!!

[Q] increasing external memory

hi.. i currently have a 2GB sd card, which im assuming is class 2 since it came with the phone. 2gb is less for me so im going to buy atleast a 4gb preferably class 4 (since its known to perform faster). my phone has an internal memory of 320 mb storage and 512 mb RAM.
i was wondering if increasing external storage with a higher class will make my phone faster? also, how about gaming experience since i have games on my sd card
PS. my phone is NOT rooted
thanks
I guess the only noticeable performance boost would be for things you do on the external sd card like reading/writing on it. Also I think apps that you'll move to it might start up faster.
I doubt that it will make the phone faster overall, because when starting an app, once it's read from the SD/ext SD card, it's all up to the CPU and RAM to do the work (also GPU if it's a game), and those are still the same.

Cronmod not working on low class sd?

It seems that low class sd card such as 1 or 2 can not use cronmod script.
i tried billion times and always fail with my 8 gb card that is 2nd class.
and with my 2gb sd card that is big class sucess from first time.
So you is it true that low class sd card can not increase the internal memory?
-Anyone has increased his internal memory with low class sd card?
Thanks about your answers

inferir NAND performance, installing apps on external SD CARD ?

in reviews it turns out that the Toshiba NAND performance of the memory is very inferior, I wonder is it a possible bottleneck ?
is it recommended to install apps on your external SD CARD instead ? I have an old samsung 32 GB class 10 sd card..
No Problem

My unit (32GB/3GB) NAND scored 1650+ in AnTuTu and tested with 85MB/s (some reviews say it has only 40+MB/s), it is good enough and above average.

64 gb Memory card

I'm planning to buy a 64GB memory card for HTC A9 and bind it as its internal memory. Could you guys suggest on this?
1. If anyone is using 64GB card, can you advise what are the specs I need to look it? I have read couple of reviews and seems "SAMAUNG -EVO + and SAMSUNG -EVO-" to be good. Any further suggestions?
2. Is it ok to bind the 64 memory as internal memory and does it work without any problems?

FYI, using a PNY U3 Pro Elite card without any issues. It's one of the fastest out there for the money. I did not bind it as internal memory though, and just use it as a secondary storage just in case (that way I can always remove it and still access thru a card reader on computer).
if you are looking to format as Internal Memory; UHS II, Speed Class 10
otherwise; UHS I, Speed Class 10

Thanks for the info !!
I had loads of problems with this (gone through 3 super fast SD cards... with each install the software would say it was not fast enough. Just ignore it ... the software lies). For almost a year it worked fine and then I ran out of memory space for apps, and I had to constantly delete apps to make room for updates. Finally I was forced to do a factory reset. Setting the SD memory card up after a factory reset means that you can create extended memory from scratch and allows you to put all the apps where the developer has given permission to run from the SD card onto the extended memory. After factory reset and going through and moving apps to extended memory everything has worked great.
I'm using "SanDisk Extreme PLUS 64 GB microSDXC" formated as internal Storage.
No Problems so far

Micro sd with android marshmallow help!!!!

Hi,i've bought a micro sd for my nvidia shield k1 (micro sd: class 10; 90 mb\s; toshiba exceria U3; 128gb). I format it like a internal memory and i moved some apps on it.Simple apps like aptoide crashed, some doesn't start and games doesn't load or lag. Why?
The micro sd is: https://www.amazon.it/Toshiba-Sched...=8-1&keywords=toshiba+exceria+micro+sd+128+gb
A U3 is usually good.
Go to the play store and look for A1 SD bench. Then test the speed. Maybe your SD card's write speed is too slow.
I can recommend: Sandisk Extreme 128GB Class 10 SDXC u3

Thanks man,the results are 11mb\s write and 40mb\s reading. Now the sd card works apparently good
11MB/s write speed is too slow! I've one of those slow cards too and I had to replace it. The current write speed of the Sandisk is over 45MB/s.
I presume your card is too slow for screen recording. I couldn't download and watch videos simultaneously with the slow card. Also, the download speed was quite slow.

I am using the same SDCard currently in mine. Having a few issues with adaptable storage, however runs fine as external.
