So I ordered on Nov 28th.... and today Dec 14 it finally arrives.
IMO, that long of a wait is hurting. I'm not from the other side of the world from the US, just "a few blocks NORTH"
Anyway, I usually order from BSE or from Zaggs but decided to try this one out this time. Will post my comments when I'm done the application.

So...install was...well, the same as any body shield. However, I have to say this is the last I'm ordering from them. Pieces don't even come close to each other so there's a lot of gaps in between. The holes line up nice but I think they gave too much leeway for the installer. The cleaning cloth was horrendous, I had to use my cloth from Zaggs. It didn't come with the squeegee like the Invisible shield from Zaggs. IMHO, Best Skin Ever is the best. Price wise, design, and it doesn't give the orange Peel-look like Zaggs does. On the bright side, this one doesn't either.
Overall, I'm happy I can finally slide my phone in my pocket and on the table knowing I wont accidentally scratch it. But like I mentioned, that was my last order from BodyGuardz.

Just a quick review.
The Dryshield is basically like a regular Skinomi skin but you can apply it completely dry. It doesn't come with any solution, only a "microfiber wet wipe", which is basically a wetnap you would get from KFC to clean your hands.
Aligning this thing was nearly impossible as you have absolutely no way of sliding it in to place. After trying unsuccessfully about 5 times to do it dry I wetted it with some water. This made installation a TON easier, but had a horrible side effect of streaking in the adhesive. I hope it clears up over time, but I fear I may have wasted $20.
Lesson learned: Buy a normal "wet" skin if you are going to install one. The dryshield sounds like a great product, but is basically impossible to install properly
EDIT/UPDATE: Got sick of looking at the extreme fogging and feeling the orange peel effect under my finger. Ripped it off my phone and in to the trash it went. Yep, waste of $20.
I'm debating buying anything else as I can NEVER get screen protectors to how I like them, and the gorilla glass seems to be more scratch resistant than anything I've experienced.
dang get another one? refund?
i used the wet version i wanted to switch for dry but after this post nvm
x2 on that one
Not going to try for a refund, as it is most certainly user error. I'm certain that if I was a surgeon working in a clean room with a tsquare, a level, and laser sights I could have gotten it on properly. But my fast fingers, impatience, and bad luck with random dust killed this cover for me.

Just a quick update. I let skinomi know of my dissatisfaction and they offered to send me an original techskin free of charge as they have noticed a number of users who cannot install the dryshield without problems.
That was extremely nice if them and they did not need to do anything. I will be sure to remember this gesture when I advise family and friends on their phones.

So about 3 weeks I picked up the bodyglove case w/kickstand. And today I took it off for the 1st time since, to clean off my camera, I was shocked to see the "soft finish" on the backplate started to Peel, I was pissed! I always keep my phone in emmaculate condition. I jumped on the LG website and started chatting with customer care via IM, explained my problem, and much to my surprise she was more then willing to send me a new one free of charge, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of assistance. I provided her with my info and it will be here in 7-10 days.. just thought I'd share incase anyone had this problem.

Just curious, are you going to buy a new case as well?
Lol.. possibly. It won't be a bodyglove, that's for damn sure.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
Yea, stay away from the Body Glove. I don't use a case and my cover doesn't even have a scratch. I don't like covering my pretty phones with bulky rubber cases.

Yeah a lot of people already know about Zagg InvisibleShields. I had one and to be honest I actually started to dislike it. The texture is a bit hard to slide your finger across. But yeah it is protective. I like ishieldz better, the same **** like invisible shield just has better texture and easier to slide your finger accross the shield.
Wow... how did you scratch the screen!? I've shown people how bad ass the Gorilla Glass is by using this phone as a cutting board with a razor blade!!

It happened one day when I slipped it into a pocket and it got scratched on a metal button...
From XDA App on Infused v2.2.3 OCed to 1.6 GHz
Mine worked fine until one day I had it in my pocket and when I pulled it out the InvisibleShield had completely unglued and slid around, and it was never the same afterward. Threw it away and run topless now.
invisishield and simil.ar protectors are good for a month or two before it turns yellow (dont believe me, take it off)
also there are similar (cheaper) products out that have a similar material but have a better feel (not so sticky to the fingers after it is installed) but most need to be found on amazon or ebay because they arent carried in stores.
hard plastic protectors are too easy to scratch. either way it is a compromise but i like the ones they sell at the att store with anti glare and no adhesive so they are washable and reuseable. easy to scratch but other wise they are the smartest thin i have seen but a little pricey.
Another alternative to invisible shield is Ghost Armor. They're based out of Arizona but I think you can order it online. I have to give AZ companies a little shout out!

Topless... haha. i bought those cheap 5 pack from amazon. ****s are pretty good. today after like 3 months of use still on the first one, i scratched it my self with a staple to see if it would scratch. it did. they were like 5 bucks i think, 3 month use and still going, 5 pack, and doesn't move around. i really like it.
sorry i think i Hi-Jacked thread, but anybody who is interested in these here is the link. trust me they work awesome. Link to Screen Protectors
I love the Zagg Invisibleshield screen protectors but it's not worth it for me because they're a bit too expensive to be putting on my phones and I switch phones alot

I agree with u. I have always used Zagg Invisible shields (on AT&T Tilt, Captivate & and also on Infuse). But just replaced it with a cheap $5 one when i was at a mall. Didn't test the scratching part yet, but it looks really really nice & much smoother.I'll never use Imviaible shield again.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
yup. i like my zaggs. Ive been happy with them. i havent tried any others so i have no comparison data.
My First Impressions:
-DOES NOT ADD BULK TO THE PHONE.
-Fits snug around phone.
-Adds a nice firm grip to the device.
-Perfect cut-outs for all ports
-There are no cut-outs for the POWER & VOLUME ROCKERS, but the material still has the springy feeling so you don't have to press hard.
-Nice black glossy design going around the case, with a smoke grey clear back to show off GALAXY S BRANDING.
-Easy to put on & take off.
**MOST IMPORTANTLY**
The lip on the case adds a gap between the screen and surfaces just in case you drop the device face down it will prevent scratches or possibly cracking.
I will definitely be ordering the Clear Back. There are also Red & Blue Backing Available.
I like this case. Being as though it is my first choice I am not disappointed with the material or fit of it. Also i received my case in 4 days. Nice packaging and shipping method.

So my case came in, and I foolishly believed the back part was white, when infact was transparent lol. So I kept the phone paper that came in the cover, cut the holes accordingly, then drew my customization on the white back part. The results are attached.
The cover has a good fit, but I've seen better. The feel quality is not cheap, but I've felt better covers.

I might have to try something like this. I bought a case off Amazon that is sort of a two parter. Internal plastic shell with a rubbery outer covering. Solid case but it tripled the width on this bad boy.

It's a good solid case. Barely any bulk.

I love the protection my case offers but the added bulk is driving me nuts! I couldn't take it anymore so I ordered this case. While I'm waiting for delivery I'm temporarily putting my phone in the rubber skin case I bought for it similar to the one that came with my HD2 a couple years ago.
Everyone here seems to like this case and it's at an excellent price point.

Glad everyone likes it
Got my case today and I love it so far! It's the perfect blend between the rubbery skins and the plastic hard cases. Very little bulk added and they did an excellent job of cutting the holes for access to all of the ports.
They did a good job of making the usb port plenty large enough. On the rubbery skin I was using they cut the hole a little too small. It was big enough for the silver part to fit but not large enough for the black part so it would keep falling out.
The one minor complaint I have is that, while they are "springy" as previously described, the power and volume rockers aren't raised enough on the sides of the phone. They need to stick out a little bit further to they can be found and pressed easier by touch IMHO.
Overall I would give it an A-

I hope I'm wrong but I think this will add bulk to the phone which might be an issue for some if not most cases/bumpers, specially if you are already using a front glass protector. Again I really hope that I'm wrong and look forward to seeing any pictures/video reviews of the item from the community.

"bulk" ? It's .5mm!
After having the front one from them which is .4mm I found that it adds a little (for lack of a better word) bulk to the phone. The cases/bumpers would normally have a nice lip around the phone so when you put the phone face down the screen would never touch the surface but with the front glass SP that nice space that the lip would create would be diminished because the cases/bumpers don't go on top of the glass SP but right next to it pushing against it, so in my head I'm thinking that having that in the back or having both in front and back would be a bad result. Maybe I'm not explaining myself right but it makes sense in my head :silly:
Has anyone received this yet?
I'm very curious about this product, I'm wanting to use my phone naked (yes I'm crazy - but extremely careful) never ever dropped any of my phones.

Hey I did receive it a while ago. I had some complications with it. When I applied it to the back of my phone it made it look really weird... It looked kind of like there were air bubbles underneath and looked kind of smashed on the bottom. I removed it to see if I applied it again if it would look different. Same thing. I was a little disappointed about how it looked and took it off. The bottom where it appeared to be smashed wasn't actually smashed. It was part of the adhesive that was not sticking to the glass. The entire back of the protector is a thin layer of adhesive. I ended up peeling the adhesive off the screen protector. It was kind of like a double-sided, thin, sticky piece of rubber, if that makes sense... I'm sorry I don't have pictures. I love xgear products but this is the poorest experience that I've ever had from an xgear product (really the poorest experience I have ever had from any product i've bought for my n4) . I think maybe if the adhesive was only on the edges like it is on the screen protector it would have been better. I think the air bubble looking effect was from the adhesive sticking to the phone... I don't want my money back or a replacement if it was even possible. My phone was very very clean before I applied it, I understood fully what I was doing when applying it. It just wasn't a great product at all. I still love xgear though.
Edit: Oh and to answer the question about the official nexus 4 bumper, Yes it will work with this. Also, shipping was very quick.
Wow so sorry to read that you had such a poor experience with it. That sucks!
If at all possible, could you take a few pictures of the screen protecter and the adhesive that was bubbling up? Thanks!
Sent from my Nexus 4
Could be possible that it was a bad batch?
Hopefully someone will upload some photos soon!
I thought the full clear no border tempered glass protectors had the same rule as the dry screen protectors. Namely that you get the bubbles out that you can and then the rest come out after 24-48 hours. If you look at the installation instructions on the clear protectors for other phones I believe that is correct.

How did you removed it?
SENT FROM MY RAGING NEXUSâ´ ?
I've already thrown it away. When I say it looks like air bubbles I mean something different. They weren't air bubbles at all. That's just the best way I could describe it. You can remove the protector by just prying it off from one of the edges..
I should have taken pictures but I was so disappointed I just threw it away. It was a really weird issue. If you have the money to spare try it out yourself. I love the idea of the protector but I won't be buying another one. I wouldn't even want one if it was free. I don't think it was defective... I think it was just the way it was made. And just to make it clear I'm not wanting to make the company look bad, I myself just wasn't satisfied with the product. I love xgear and the screen protector I bought from xgear that is on my phone right now.
