[Q] Htc sensation freeze and then boot loop even in recovery

Hi everybody. im have an issue with my sensation. It started one week ago. i was using the phone normaly and suddenly it frozen and then reboot. But after the reboot, it frozen an reboot again and again... i tried wiping the cache, the dalvick cache and doing a factory reset. I even try another rom. But when the phone restart it freeze just after the logo has gone (or before that) or when the launcher is loading. Usually i need to remove the battery and put it back (and turn on the phone manually) or it wont reboot.
Since yesterday it is getting worse. when i boot into recovery it freeze there too and i have to pull out/in the battery. sometimes it work well for 5s,10 or 20 s .... and then freeze and reboot. This time i have to remove the battery and wait for 20 or 30 minutes to put it back and turn the phone on. And after 10 sec it freeze again and reboot. But is seems like when i stay on the bootloader screen i dont have any problem.
So i dont know if some of the partitions are damaged or if it is a battery issue.
I hope someone could help me .
NB: the phone is rooted and s-off

use an ruu.exe to return to stock condition
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425
you will still be on S-OFF
see if you still have reboots
also try to put a piece of paper where the battery is connected to improve the connection

Powering off upon boot

I woke up to find my phone off, I knew the battery was charged so I turned it on, when the phone booted and got to the lock screen the powering off box popped up and it shut down. I tried multiple times to boot but every time the powering off box would pop up and the phone would shut off. So I booted into recovery and wiped the phone, that didn't fix it, the phone is still shutting down upon boot, does anyone have any suggestions?
Update: I have flashed the stock rom and wiped all the caches and its still shutting down once it gets to the lock screen. Its almost like the power button is stuck, but I'm able to navigate in recovery fine so I don't believe that's possible.
I followed the steps on how to unroot and reset the phone to completely stock and the problem still persists, anyone have any idea?

If you have flashed the factory images and so on and all of this still persist than it's RMA time.

Ok so I wake up yesterday to found out that my Whatsapp suddenly fc. And when i open it back, it shows that my chat backup are messed up and i need to restore it.
And while doing that, it started to reboot by itself.
I thought it will be okay after that.
It not.
Reboot, power on, Dropbox fc. Few seconds after that, reboot again.
power on, another apps fc. after few seconds, reboot again.
It keeps rebooting into the same state when i woke up that morning. Wifi turned on, few notifications on panel, (thou i keep clearing it everytime when it power on)
Now ive tried wipe data , wipe cache, everything in CWM. but it keeps rebooting into the same state!
Ive also tried flash with stock rom via ODIN.
Guess what?
It appear PASS on ODIN, but when the tab powered on, is still went back to the previous same state.
Ive google around and some said it is the sign of memory flash fail or smthing.
anyone maybe could help me out?
im on dead end.

Z5 stuck in bootloop (100% stock firmware)

Over the weekend, my Z5's battery died. When I booted it back up, it started running dexopt which I found unusual. Once it completed and switched to "starting apps" the phone rebooted and began running dexopt again. The next time, I ran logcat and saw that com.sonymobile.wifi/.internal.SomcWifiService was ANRing at the end of starting apps which caused the phone to reboot. Any ideas how I can fix this?
This is one of the first phones I've used that is 100% stock firmware and not rooted or unlocked. Any ideas what may have caused this or how I can get out of the boot loop?
I tried running adb shell svc wifi disable as a last resort but it didn't fix it.
EDIT: I've created a gist with the logcat during dexopt and leading up to the crash here: gist.github.com/gpeal/d580d12c8f8f01569128
Try to repair your phone with pc companion,or remove sd card if you have one and try without it.
Update: I was somehow able to get it to boot in to safe mode while trying to do the 3 finger salute to get it into recovery mode. After it booted into safe mode, I had it forget all wifi networks (hoping that it may have caused the wifi anr). I rebooted after that and it booted back up normally. I still have no idea what caused the ANR though.

How did you get the phone to boot into safe mode?
Mine is stuck showing "Optimising application 1 of 76" and I have to let the battery run out before I can charge it and try again. Sometimes it gets through all 76 and then says "Starting Android" and then just re-boots and it all starts again.
Plugging it into the PC doesn't seem to give any response either as the thing won't turn on so I can't run the PC repair option in PCC, any advice muchly appreciated

Turn the phone on and directly press volume down and keep it pressed till the phone boot will take you to safe mode.

If you have adb setup, run logcat while the phone is optimizing. Let it continue running until the phone reboots. When it does, the adb connection will close and you'll be able to find the crash/ANR pretty close to the end of the log.
Thanks guys. I actually didn't need to do either of those things, I found a little reset switch next to the Sim card tray, pressed that and then it took twice as long as previous attempts to optimize the apps but then it booted up fine
Z5 SOV32 stucks in bootloop after phone restart

Interface restarting after screen unlock

The phone has completely run out of power.
I charged it up, turned it on. But after I unlock the screen, after a second the interface starts rebooting. That is, not a complete reboot, but exactly the interface, a few times, and then a complete reboot.
I can use the curtain, turn on and off wifi, but until the phone unlocks.
I tried resetting the cache via recovery, it didn't help.
I also put the latest update through odin with save data, that didn't help either.
Really need to save the data of one installed app. Please, if you know what you can try, advise me.
Was thinking of updating one ui via adb sideload in recovery, but don't know how.
