Hey, did someone who have root access, tried playing tegra games on sensation?
Take a look at this.
I've read somewhere that you can play those games if you have the chainfire apk or something. I didn't care much to investigate since I already have those Tegra "exclusive" games (so dumb) on my iPod touch.
Thats true, as you can see... its a guide for rooted devices.
Did someone else tried those games on sensation?

For that you need Chainfire3D, and CF3D needs a reboot after installing, and also needs to write to /system. So it's impossible right now

some of these games do work on the sensation without root or chainfire3d...yes i am talking about the cracked versions..
i played pinball hd tegra / samurai 2 tegra etc
Now that we have root has anyone tried this??
Guys, about playing Tehran games on the sensation, I tried pinball hd and other tegra games which works flawlessly on the sensation with no need of chain fire at all I don't know about u but all the games I tried worked fine for me till now even tegra.

Works perfectly on my phone, in fact before samurai vengeance 2 was updated to work for the sensation i would use chain fire to run the Tegra only version. Will be trying monster madness later today and will post if it works or not.

Played Riptide GP today and it worked. I get those weird colours on the jetski thing, but nothing else.

I know that you can get the 3d maps when you have a dual core procress phone, but is there any way to get a mod version for single core phones? I would be nice to get on Sidekick 4g

I bought the app today, but even with the pro version and the plugin nvidia and the fix market activated, I can't download tegra zone app, I have just access to galaxy on fire 2 THD...
Did someone got it to work properly?
you can only download tegra apps if you have a tegra chip. chainfire only "fakes" or should I say manipulates an app to think that you have a qualcomm,tegra or powerVR. and It work work on every app. you can download tegra apps to try out on warez sites. but on official sites/stores it won't work.

what I tested
Working fine:, Galaxy on fire 2, bob guerilla THD, sprinkle, samurai vengeance.
Working but with some bug : riptide GP ( texture issue on the player , every other texture working), Backbreacker THD ( the player don't run but move hard to explain )
Not working : bang bang racing ( stuck at the first screen), monster madness ( fc )
Tried sprinkle and pinball thd, both working good.
Where did you get the galaxy on fire 2? Mine's stuck at downloading the sd files

its possible to play Tegra 2 games on the nexus s. Im wondering if its possible now to play tegra 3. Im trying to get Puddle THD. I already know that DEAD TRIGGER works even without chainfire. Is there a tegra 3 plugin to be installed with the Chainfire 3D and build.prop changes?

i play GTA 3 that's meant for Dual core Cpu and i play it with a little lag but its playable.
it would be cool to play tegra 3 games on our device

Chainfire himself said that there won't be a tegra 3 plugin, because its not possible.

I have a galaxy s3 and have games I've purchased for that phone on playstore so downloaded some games to my note 10.1 and although the screen wasn't smaller they seemed to play and look fine.
What I wanted to know is will the games look any different if I download the tablet versions of these games, are they modified any differently for the note?

Sure . But U have to use the same google account . The games will not look any different ( some games maybe ) Playing games using tablet still better than playing on phone . This why i sold my gsii n bought this tablet

Yeah use the same account and if I look at all apps then the apps are there.
Just thought the tablet versions might look a bit different but remembered playing a game through my hdtv it still looked pretty sharp.
Only had my note a day it's on charge, only played nova 3 on it though and apart from jagged little lines if you looked very very close it looked okay to me

Basically Play store detects your device to download the correct apk setup file for your device ..
Same game have many different apk files ( many versions ) for each screen / resolution / processor and/or graphic processor ..
But some games and apps doesn't .. =)

I just made back up copies of my s3 games that I purchased from playstore then installed them on my note and they all worked and looked good too even though playstore said they weren't compatible
