[Q] Installing new skin on official HTC Sense 3.0

Hello.
I have not rooted Desire S with official HTC Sense 3.0 and Android 2.3.5.
I would like to install this skin:

When I install it and then hit Done button, it is not showed in personalize->skins. There are only 3 default skins for HTC Sense 3.0. I've tried download skins from HTC Hub and that works correctly with no problems.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

So I found out that all of NON-HTC skins aren't showing in skins option. If I install skin from HTC Hub, everything is OK, but when I install any skin for example from Android Market it's not showing in skins menu.
Can anyone help me with this?

HTC Sense 3.0 Custom skins not working

Hello.
So. I found out, that on official Desire S Sense 3.0 aren't working custom skins from the Market for example. Only working are default skins in HTC or in HTC Hub. Custom skins are not workable. After installation are not showed in the Menu of Skins.
I'm telling this because I'm not the only one who has this problem after installation of HTC Sense 3.0 Update.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to skin certain areas (lock screen, HTC widgets, bottom buttons) of Android 2.3.5 for Sense 3.0. All the skins on the market will only work on Android 2.3.3 and 2.3.4. Annoying I know.
Until the m10 tools are updated to allow skinners to mod these areas, I'm afraid were are stuck with the stock skins, or going back to a 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 Sense ROMs.
Not much help if you are unrooted on stock. Sorry.

[Q] Sense calendar on ics - possible?

I migrated from a sense 3.5 rom (enydmion) to a ICS rom (virtuos quatro) and I noticed ICS is missing a good calendar app & widget.
I really liked the calendar apps the sense rom comes with.
I tried some alternatives from the market but didn't like them as much.
Is there anyway to install the calendar apps from the sense rom on the ICS one?
(I got them backed up on titanium if it helps...)

no way at the moment. Sense widgets only do work on sense.
But you might try Android pro widgets, you can find it in the market

[Q] Sense clock app on Virtuous Inquisition ICS?

Does anyone know if it is possible to install the sense ICS clock app over the AOSP clock app in Virtuous Inquisition 4.0.1 ICS? I really want something that has the timer and stopwatch functionality that exists in Sense, but is lacking in AOSP. Thanks!

No it isn't...the only way to get the Widgets is to have Rosie as ur launcher

I have no interest in the widgets. I'm interested in the in-app functionality. The AOSP clock has no stopwatch or timer built in. I want that. The Sense clock APP has that. Does anyone know if the app will work? I dont need the widgets, and I know that the sense widgets won't work on 3rd party launchers already. Help?

I have just bought an htc one s which of course has sense 4.0, the last version of sense and I have noted this:

to this situation on sense 4.0 :
In my opinion there is no match, the 3.5 situation is very much better ( it look more nice ). But hey I was thinking, we are on android not iphone so anyone know if there is a chance to have the big colored icons on the foreground back on sense 4.0 ??
Also the icons on the slider now are just black and white and before where all colored which is something I do not like much.

id also like to know of the cube effect from the one x can be added to Roms. ?

the cubic effect onthe all app menu has already been ported in some ROMs, this thread is for having the old slider insde the htc programs, like clock, meteo, contact ecc..
