Looking for the newest rom with HARDWARE HD DECODING and working VIDEO CHAT. Is this the newest CM7? or is there another ginger/honeycomb rom that can do this? or does CM7.2 not do these two things?
Hardware Acceleration is limited to froyo roms. You might want to look into Calk+Clem V8 or Beasty.
Froyo is the only accelerated android version for gTab that I know. I just went to Frankentab and absolutely love it.

Hey guys. I finally rooted and installed CM7 latest nightly. I do miss the stock music and video players which have DTS support. Does anyone know where I can get these? And if/how I can I install them in CM7?
Also is my g2x still Divx ceritified with CM7? Not sure if it because of hardware or software. Thanks very much guys.
I made a backup of the OTA in case I really miss them.

Just be patient, he has to support every LG phone that CM supports, he is the maintainer of CM on all LG devices.
Some day, our day will come that we have a fully working ICS ROM.
RC is a mastermind i dont know how he does it he is amazing , but im soo disappointed in these ROM's and im not blaming the devs, but hardware acceleration on the ROMS is nothing compared to stock, the stock rom seems smoother and way faster, and lack of drivers from LG is really annoying, do you know if LG would release a full source code with Nvidia drivers this april as its the expected of official ICS release

on ICS? because as far as i know video isnt working yet on ICS roms..
you can use video can illusion from the market for videos. Works no problem

I couldn't.
The G2x running ICS doesn't have hardware acceleration, because Nvidia won't release the driver for the graphics card that the G2x uses.
I've heard that teh G2x uses the Tegra driver?
So, then I found this: http://developer.nvidia.com/tegra-android-os-images
It was updated pretty recently, so.. I'm not sure why it's incompatible with the G2x running ICS.
Could anyone shed some light on the situation?

Any other folks having issues with no video, only audio on all versions of Netflix running ICS 4 for Optimus V? reflashed to any GB rom and Netflix works fine, but with ICS all I get is audio with no video.

high quality videos wont work
only low quality works in ics
Odd. HQ videos play over smb using Max player and Netflix worked fine on other GB rooms. Oh well. Got me a Skyrocket now!
I do plan on developing roms as I've been writing software for more years than I care to count. Just wish I had access to more devices. I wonder if a device trading/donation site would be a good idea.

Hi, Netflix newer versions are with hdcp protection, download may/16 version from apkmirror.
Has anyone managed to find a setup where hd videos within the youtube app will play smoothly?? I know with stock it was a known issue but Ive tried a few different roms and kernels but so far no joy The problem is not buffering and my internet connection is more than capable but videos stutter and seem to miss a second or two whenever theres any kind of fast moving action going on.. I only use my tab for youtube and a bit of browsing so its really frustrating, can anyone help?

ARHD 3.5.1 with guever's v1.1 fb28 is the smoothest i've yet to try.
I'm running stock .27 with guevor 23 @ 1.4GHz and every HD Youtube video I've watched is smooth. Raymanfx's Harmony #66 works just as well too.

Tried the eos ROM and its transformed my transformer! Performance is sooo much better in pretty much every way Youtube playback is much better now too, using the modded guever kernel with the voodoo support oc'd to 1.5 and all is good. Thanks for the recommendation
