Iv never really messed with flashing kernals and modems before. I was looking at the DARKY OTA app and was lookong at the options for modems and kernals. Is it safe to just pick one? I wanna try flashing a good kernal/modem. Witch ones should i flash? And does it matter wut i flash first?

on the app of darkyota the modem names are I9000XXXX
Darky rom is available for i897 and i9000....one of them things hou learn when you port the rom....like i said...what do i know...yall got it

oh you got to be kidding me!! this is too easy here. I was going to tell you to flash one of those miui but I was once like you. THE ONLY ROMS AVAILABLE FOR THE INFUSE ARE; INFUSED BY GTG465x, REFUSE BY H8RIFT AND BIONIX BY NOPCODEX90!!!!!!!!! IF you flash any other rom your device will explode.

isnt that for the i9000? rom manager shows us the i9000 roms because we use cwm for the i9000. stick to roms you see on the forum, we dont have a aosp kernel yet. it isnt imposible to run miui on a tw kernel, the fascinate had a rom like this but it wasnt fully functional.

Psst, it was a joke, hence the recommendation to download Ultimate Unbrick first. gtg knows better
re: MIUI Rom
None of the ROMS in Rom Manager Download option is for our phones except for the GTG465x entry where you will find the Infused 1.5.2 custom rom.
I have NO idea why all those other roms even show up in our phones......

It is very strange.... When I had the Samsung Captivate and I check the download roms section in Rom Manager ALL the roms there were for the Samsung Captivate.. I wish who ever is in charge of Rom Manager or the DEVS would fix the error.

Who are you gonna make a petition against ? Look , first we have to complete CM7 then we can have MIUI. I personally think it looks like a retarted nintendo DS or something but thats me. Im almost done CM7 and when I get a hold of rz950, gtg and h8 we will have it, I assure you. Patience. Hey Guys, I have the Samsung Galaxy S 4G updated to 2.3.3. My phone will randomly during each and every call I have reboot. This is annoying as hell. I've Searched around the Forums and noticed that people have said to remove your SD Card for 24 Hours. I've done this yet the problem still is here.
Will upgrading my Modem/Baseband to something like KI3 fix my problem? Thanks.

Yeah but all I've seen is all these Custom Rooted Roms and such. I'm stupid with those CWM and Rooting and such like that. I just want the 2.3.5 Stock. I don't want help with trying to get those Custom ROM's even though I do want them.
There is no stock official release if that is what you mean but you can Odin a leaked rom. Their stock.

I read the entire thread, and saw where it says only flash over a stock jvt rom. Not sure what he was referring to. I mean any jvt stock rom and flash over it without wiping?

I have a Rogers Infuse which came with Gingerbread already. I was wondering hhow will I be able to flash ICS? I meant will I have to flash bootloaders still or will I just do wipes and then literally flash it from CWM without anything else?
I am talking about CM9 or AOKP.

I see a few rogers infuse on the aokp thread...if you have gb already you should be good, but if want to make sure...you can follow these directions before you load aokp...I did post #2 then loaded Nun aokp...no issues

Rogers users have it the easiest. Just double flash and you're good
All rogers infuses have GB bootloaders.
To go back to gb though you will probably have to flash a kernel in odin, double flashing didn't work for me then.

Yerp...do your wipes...flash...it will stick on bootup...pull battery....go back into now blue cwm flash again...and flash gapps ...reboot
