[Q] Samsung Epic 4g - Problems with Phone Modem

I just switched from the old Epic Experience to Cyanogen 7, the latest nightly version. When my phone boots up, everything works except for my phone, text messaging, and 3g. The phone keeps looping from Airplane mode off to on. I can't even make calls but wi-fi works.
I tried to replace the Cyanogen Rom with 4 other roms with no luck. It just keeps booting back into the Cyanogen one. Now I'm stuck. I've booted to CWM several times now, wiped the cache and dalvik and nothing. (I get the /sd-ext error but I heard that doesn't matter).
Can someone please help or direct me to where I can find help on the issue?

It was very helpful for using Odin to put my phone back to stock. I don't know why but I can't get my phone to install any new ROMS. I just tried installing the one that says "ERA" and I get the Samsung screen on boot up but it freezes. :-l Why are ROMs better than having root access to the main stock?

[Q] Galaxy s i9000 stuffed as update of rom failed using odin

HI Guys.......i have galaxy si9000 and while updating the custom rom i wrongly selected the files using odin and the update failed...it was still in download mode but i removed the battery to retart the phone and to see if anything happened..........and then it doenst start at alll......kindly help how to start or how to reset the phone to get in download mode.
The reason while i was trying to do was ...few days back i loaded Ice Cream Sanwich on the phone and the phone went really slow so i decided to revert back to Ginderbread.....which was done successfully but then i decided to change to custom rom and this happened......

I had gingerbread 2.3.4 and Semaphore kernel and I flashed MIUI 2.3.4 then I flashed Glitch from : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1315400
I didn't like glitch because of its bad colors so I decided to reflash my gingerbread rom using odin3.... now odin3 got stock at modem.bin and i had to disconnect my device
my device had a black screen and I tried to flash the same rom and tried other roms from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881
but it always stuck on the same place
one froyo was falshed successfully but the screen remained black and the only change happened is that i heard the start up sound but... again a black screeen
anyone got solution?!!

I tried to flash rom without "phone" file
it was flashed successfully
bt again I heard the startup sound with a black dead screen

I tried flashing a wrong rom... now the device can't go in download mode
the usb jig doesn't work
I neeed help...
would i have to take it to samsung Maintenance center?

well if you don't get in the download mode, I don't think you're gonna be able to restore your phone
if you can get into the download mode try the darky rom resurrection, I always could get it to work with that

Help returning my Captivate back to stock rom from CM7

Hi guys,I am new to this forum and I guess to android as well.Really need your help. I decided to flash CM 9 and everything went smoothly.But after a few hours I discovered that it is not for me.So I decided to back to the stock rom Gingerbread 2.3.3 which I had previously.So I thought that using Odin will do the trick.I have the original rom in my computer.For reference when I connected the phone I only clicked on PDA to select the rom, but after the upgrade finished nothing happened.I had to disconnect the phone to reboot it.And after that the phone tries to boot but nothing happens.It only goes to the Rogers logo and then restarts itself over and over again.What am I doing wrong or not doing at all.It would be very helpful of you to help me go back to Gingerbread again.Can you please provide me with details how to do that.Should I download more stuff like boot loader or anything or just use a different software.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S fascinate, Stuck every where **HELP ME **

Hi guys, my samsung galaxy S fascinate has a BIG problem!! not similar of the other who use download mode to make it work. My phone is stuck in recovery mode, I can move up and down but I can't press OK. I also can't go in download mode. Please help me I need my phone back :crying:
Expliquation: I downloaded ICS for my cell phone and everything was fine, but since ICS take alot of battery I went back to gingerbread 2.3.6,
when I installed this rom my HOME touch key was changed to move left and my SEARCH to move right. I arleady rooted the phone under gingerbread 2.3.6. I tried to go in download mode and it didn't work.I downloaded an app which could bring me to recovery mode( I heard I could do something in recovery mode) but well I can't press OK... HELP ME PLEASE!! :crying:

SOLVE, I connected my cell phone to my pc via USB, like 1hour later my phone rebooted normally
