check out my splash screens.... click on the "Find all threads started by Stoney 666" on my profile.
The dimensions should be 960x800, I believe.
The screen's dimensions are 480x800, but a good wallpaper is 960x800 to account for the parallax effect.

[Q] Remove/replace MobileOperator splash screen

I've just installed this ROM on my Orange SPV C600. However, I find the MobileOperator splash screen and shutdown screen to be rather tacky and want to replace them. The problem is that the images for both are in .png format but the image I want to replace them with is animated and hence must be in .gif form.
Is there a way to replace the screens with my animated one? I've tried looking in the registry for startup references pertaining to the MobileOperator images so that I can modify the data but can't find any.
Thanks.

[bootanimation] White on black spinning moto sphere

This is a white on black boot animation and a logo to go with it. I couldn't get mp4s to work, so this uses .png instead. It's a little bigger in file size because of that. The boot logo is zipped due to dimension limits on XDA.

Where can I find suitable boot animations?

Rom toolbox has a bunch of boot animations but all of them are for smaller screens...where can I find some that are sized for the idol's high resolution screen?

creating boot animation logo

I have a vector drawing of an iceberg that I want to create a simple gif animation where there is a gradient moving where the black outlines are, this would be used to replace the stock boot animation on lineageos but I am not sure how to create this animation within Photoshop where the frames are given out. Can anyone help?
