Hello,
I want to know what home changer people would think is the best to get.

2 - http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/U...pters/Micro-USB-Travel-Charger-SPN5334A-US-EN
3 - http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/U.../P853-Fast-Rate-Travel-Charger-SPN5358A-US-EN
All three are listed on the Motorola web site for the triumph cell phone.

That one. It has the fastest charge. But personally I would get a usb cord and an AC adapter to use as a charger. Easier...IMHO...since you can plug into any computer or a wall
Any micro usb charger will work fine.

Hi Here in Mexico dont have a UK plugs and of corse my phone charger dont fits o the outlet but i have a USB Charger I can plug the Data cable to carge but the only question i have is this specs
Samsung Original Travel Charger is output : 5V = 0.7a
My USB output : 5V = 0.5a
Please Help
I think the only diff is the charges Times is less amp takes more time to full the battery.
i use the uk charger here in the u.s. i believe they are set for multiple power inputs just get a cheap adapter to change the plug configuration. that is what i am using.
i posted the below in another charger thread but in case it serves here
not sure if a lot of folks are just unaware, but every phone i've had charged fine from a usb port off my computer
since i started tethering my phone to my laptop (browse the web from family couch) december 2009, i haven't used the wall charger
even if i'm not tethering, i've got a spare usb cable on the desktop, that when i sit down at the desk, the phone or whatever device, gets connected to - far more convenient and fewer items occupying space on the desk
plus, i've got that Tmo car charger that just has a usb port on it's end - so the same cable that i use to tether to the laptop (when in the car), if i'm using the phone in the dock for nav, runs down to the charger - the charger, with no cable hanging off it when not in use, let's me leave the charger in the socket 24/7 - no looking for it in the glove box and untangling it etc
that charger is simply converting the 14V car voltage to 5 V the USB port normally delivers
2 - 3.5 hours seems to take my 1150mah battery from low charge to full
for what it's worth

There is nothing wrong with that. 5V is all you need. As long as you don't supply too high a voltage, your batteries should be safe. Don't worry about the amperage (current). Lower current (0.5a vs 0.7a) just means that it takes longer to charge the batteries.
And for those who really must have a wall charger that charges the batteries directly, you can buy a universal USB charger (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15264). It works great. It plugs into any USB charger or laptop USB port, and charges any battery rated 3.7V. You can find them on eBay for just a couple of dollars.
As the cable is too short, I attached an extension cable.
However, now it does not charge. If i connect the short cable that came with the Transformer, it charges fine. Any suggestion?
The TF101 "short cable" as you call it, is a USB3 cable, what has +5 pins inside. One of these pins control the 15V charging (the tablet takes 15V from the charger instead of the usual 5V USB), if it can not send the signal through, it won't charge. You need a USB3 extension cable what's pretty expensive though.
Get this one or a similar one. As you can see, 2 reviewers vouch that this cable works.

I can vouch for it, too.
Got on of this USB 3 cable while at HK and work without any problem.
Thank you guys. Will be purchasing one. I am guessing Belkin F7C008QAF Conserve Valet USB Charging Station - Energy Saving wont be working with this :/
That is correct, because the transformer looks for termination of one of the usb 3 pins, if you plug it into a usb 2.0 or lower extension/hub it just wont work. You must have a usb 3 extension/hub, or, there are many DIY chargers that are probably cheaper than a usb 3 extension cable and definately cheaper than a usb 3 hub.
Even a usb 3.0 hub or charging station will not charge it. Usb does not provide the voltage required. Only the outlet adapter will work

Are you saying that my cigarette outlet will be the only thing that charges this?
It won't charge it all with anything unless turned off. Guess I need to make a hybrid cable

When I connect my P6200 using usb, it doesn't charge, instead, there is an 'x' symbol at the battery. Is this normal? Because using my Galaxy Ace, it charges when usb is connected. I'm asking this because I'm trying usb tether for the first time, but in this case if it doesn't charge, it means that I can only usb tether until my battery has depleted and I would have to recharge again to be able to tether.
Yup. Usb is not able to charge tab and ipad. Need to plug to wall for charging

Actually it does charge. More of a trickle charge tho. If the screen is off, then it will trickle charge a bit faster.
If the tab is connected via USB, will it at least be able to sustain itself via the USB power?
So if your battery is on 50%, and you keep the tablet on and are using it. Will it at least stay on 50% and not decrease slowly?
Samsung puts a resistor in their chargers so the tablet can distinguish between a Samsung brand charger and all other chargers.
The tablet will not charge (or use power from) any USB port except the wall adapter. (lame Samsung... really lame...)
You can buy adapters (or make them)
There's more info for creating an adapter yourself in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=845844
Just like the GT-P1000, P6200 is charging over the usb port of any pc, only when it is turned off. But anyway the charging process is much longer. Very useful when you don't heave the travel adapter with you.
i use this usb cable it work
It pulls a Max of 500mA from the USB or unknown charger. This will charge a tab plus with the screen off that isn't doing much. It will pull 1500mA from the Samsung wall charger.

My Plus charges normally from PC via USB. Icon shows 'x', but still in charging process anyway. It takes longer time but for those who tether should be ok and Plus should stay at least on the same level of %. I have unoriginal cable bought together with car charger.
I purchased a micro USB charger adapter from ebay. It just plugs into the 30 pin port and I am able to use my cell phone charger with no problem at all. The cell charger puts out 1000ma and the tab plus recognizes it. Do a search for P6200 Micro USB Charger Adapter on ebay.
If you are determined to use a computer to charge the tab plus, you will need the adapter above and a dual USB A to micro USB B Y cable. It will plug into two USB ports on the computer and give you the 1000ma to charge the tab plus. This is the best solution without having power cables all over your desk.
re
HEllo, where can I buy this cable?
thanks

or you can make it charge by requesting this feature in a custom kernel
Thanks
Yesterday I bought P6200 without charger, was using usb cable and it ws slow.
First I thought there might be some problems but this post helped me figure the cause
hi,
i have just bought the S4, the only problem is the white mains power charger cable is too short for me.
Can anyone recommend an extended mains power charger that is compatible with the S4 i9505?
Thanks
Any micro usb will be fine just keep in mind the longer the cable the slower it will charge the phone. I personally bought a power strip to add more distance ... but I also have a 10ft usb cable that charges my phone very slowly
Don't listen to anyone that says to get a usb extension cable.
to answer you'r question, you can't get a longer cable for the s4, at this time.
the usb cable and charger are "special" you have to use what came in the box to be charging the phone at ~1.5 amps, if you so much as just use a different microUSB cable, the current will go down to ~0.75 amps (effectively doubling the required charging time). same goes for the wall adapter.
I've been looking for a couple wall outlets that have the standard two 110V plugs and 2 USB ports and there are quite a few out there. The problem is I haven't found any that can charge the way the default charger that comes with the tablet charges. 5V with a USB 2.0 cable and 12V with a USB 3.0cable. Are there any out there that can do this? This would save me alot of plug space in the bedroom if so, one plug for the tablet and one for my phone.
Thanks
